They asked me for a body of work. Made the work and put it on my body.

So I decided to stick to fewer colors for this candy necklace. I love these glass pastel colors. Glass colors can sometimes change during the creating/cooling process. Finding colors that don’t change through the entire process is always so satisfying. Opening the annealing oven the morning after working always feels like waiting to open presents on Christmas morning. This glass candy necklace is so sweet.

Did you know @blackbirdapothecary_ carries tons of product from other small businesses?! You can find all different types of art in her shop. I love that she supports several local glass artists as well. You can snag mini pumpkins ( in the cabinet with @the_ranting_raven candles 💜) and some ritual smoke wands by me, some beautiful perfume bottles and stoppers by @glassbyem and also a beautiful array of items from @hiddendestinyglass. Go check it out, and support many small businesses at once! #tacoma #supportlocal #shopsmall #womanowned #handmade #handcrafted

I love supporting local glass artists like Emily Martin. I met Emily at Red Hot, Museum of Glass’s annual gala. The cute bottles are one of Emily’s specialities. And, fyi, they are perfume bottles! You can purchase these cute glass bottles at MOG right now in the gift shop. #supportlocalglassartists #mog #tacomaartist #district2 #currancoffeehouse

⚡️Refract kicked off with GATHER 🎉 Opening Party at Chihuly Garden & Glass @chihulygg. We watched live glassblowing and flameworking from @hilltopartists, picked up our #RefractPassport, toured the installations, and of course snapped a selfie in the Glasshouse beneath the 100-foot long Persian Ceiling! Dale Chihuly calls Seattle home, and his installations at CGG @chihulygg sparkle under the @spaceneedle. It was fun to make new friends at GATHER for #refractseattle. For magic from afar, follow @chihulystudio too ✨ #goseeglass
