☀️ I never want to see the day that Tammy and I set out on an all day adventure and don’t come home just flat worn out! 🥱 There’s things we wanna see and so much to do that we act like it’s our last day here on this earth together. Every. Single. Time. And it’s pure bliss. 😁 Wouldn’t and couldn’t have it any other way.
🥳Since this was my birthday adventure there were horses and apple picking and music and majestic views from a North Georgia winery. Plus we took the vet! 🏎️ By the end I was too tired to be scared anymore. 😂🤓🤪 Thanking Jesus for the amazing weather and memories!!♥️🐴🧡🍂 🍏 ⛰️

🎶 When I heard Danny Gokey was coming to town I absolutely knew I was going and until the day before I thought I was going to my first concert by myself! 🤓 I love his music and lyrics THAT much!! Turned out to be an incredible night of praise and worship with my bestie and her mom and a precious new friend. ☺️
Danny’s music is powerful y’all. And catchy too!
“It all comes down to this. Love God and love people!”♥️🎷🎵 ✝️😄
(sidenote.. my all time favorite is “Rise” but I sang so loud to it that I destroyed his version and could not post. 🤪😜) catch it on iTunes. 😂

T & V Summer of ‘26, not ‘69…let the throwback begin! 🎶 🎤 We feel we are products of the greatest musical generation, specifically the 80’s and 90’s music. So many memories, old and new, are tied to these songs. Bryan Adams and Pat Benatar rocked 🤘🏼❤️ our worlds last night! It might be our favorite concert ever! We felt like kids again!
To keep with our throwback theme, we met up with an old childhood friend, Ashley Emerson Shoudy 🩷🫶🏼👯‍♀️ from youth group ⛪️ ; we had breakfast and she gave us a Charlotte tour. It was like 25+ years hadn’t passed; our hearts are full!!!

🍃 I am convinced that there is no place so soul filling than a mountain cabin by a stream with your best friend. 😊 Sunset, South Carolina was a remote getaway but we weren’t too far from great hiking (except for a couple of spiders which are Tammy’s favorite), Yellow Branch Falls which is now in my new top 2, a chance to kayak on Lake Keowee, and ofcourse an off the charts sunset spot that we watched from 2 different states. (See photo for explanation 😉) Beautiful! Barbecue, shopping and coffee in Walhalla on the way were a bonus. ♥️
Highlights were s’mores by the nightly campfire and coffee in the morning on a rock in the stream as the sun came up. ☕️ 💦 🪨 🌳 🥾 How we find new memories, things to laugh about, and adventures we’ve yet to discover keeps me so grateful for you Tammy! 🥰

If you ever wonder if your kid’s youth group friendships will last.. they do. 💖
When the stars and schedules spontaneously align the time together leaves me so grateful for the ones that share so much history. 😊🩷💚🩵☀️
(and, thank you Kevin for providing the delicious flavors of summer!) 😋

Man I love it when country comes to town!! 🤠 The first Braves Countryfest was fantastic!! Bring it back Braves, but maybe on a nice, crisp Fall night. 😄 Loved seeing Ella Langley and relating to her Dandelion song. 🎶 🌼 And the entertainer of the year, Cody Johnson, was awesome!! 🤩 Saying and singing what’s in his heart and on his mind he was so good!! A good time was had by all!!! Again! Again!! 👢🎶🤠💖☀️💃

But wait, there’s more!! 😜
And, these are the most exquisite sights yet!
Day 3 of Tammy n Val’s Big Canadian Adventure was a literal sunrise to sunset kind of day. 🌄 We watched the sun come up over the mountains around the Vermillion Lakes and were the first to spot some elk in town on our way for coffee. ☕️
❄️ From there we took a 7 mile round trip snow hike to witness what’s called the Ink Pots. 🎨 Beautiful, multicolored by minerals, springs at the top of and centrally located smack dab in the middle of nowhere! We passed 2 people on our hike up of two hours and began to get a little worried when glory, glory we arrived!! Next time we will convert the kilometers into miles while we still have service before starting out. Good rule of thumb. 👍🏼 😬
Finally we stood in awe and wonder of a partially thawing Lake Minnewanka and peered through the trees at a stunning blue Two Jacks Lake. Sunset over the mountains capped off our trip, and ladies and gentlemen that is a big Canadian wrap. Hope you enjoyed your tour! 😁

❄️ Tammy n Val’s Big Canadian Adventure!!🇨🇦
🩵☀️ Day 2 was jam packed with a full day tour of Lake Louise (the frozen version~ pretty cool to stand in the middle of it!), Johnston Canyon ice hiking, downtown Banff and Bow River Valley. All followed by a walk down to the cutest little town of Canmore topped off with dinner at a delicious Italian restaurant!
🏔️ We are determined to leave no mountain unturned and sleep will resume once we’re home! 😄⛅️

🩵 Tammy n Val’s Big Canadian Adventure!!❄️
Our first full scenic day included horseback riding through the Canadian snowy Rockies, hiking to the summit of Tunnel Mountain, which reminded us we forgot our inhalers 😜, seeing the cutest elk butts in town, along with dinner in Banff. It’s beautifully magical here and we may start a new Hallmark series. 😄🩵⛅️

🩷 Sometimes it takes us us a while to get our calendars together because we cannot fathom not spending the entire day together when we do. In a world of whirlwind we are our peace and calm. ☺️
☕️ Today we found us the cutest little cafe off the beaten path and hiked around Stone Mountain. ⛰️ Tammy gave my Katie girl too many dog cookie treats because food is a love language and Frannie and Pablo enjoyed some playtime. Love my Tammy time!🩷😺🐶
