GARMC BLOG – MOTIVATIONAL MONDAY
QUOTE OF THE WEEK
“Anger can make you destroy in one minute what took you years to build. Learn to pause, breathe, and walk away when necessary. Not every battle deserves your reaction, and not every provocation deserves your anger.”
Sometimes, controlling your anger is not a sign of weakness; it is a sign of wisdom, maturity and self-control. Protect your peace, your relationships, your reputation and everything you have worked so hard to build.
Wishing you all a fabulous, productive and successful week ahead!

ORIYOMI HAMZAT REACTS TO THE DEVELOPMENT
Following the publication of his name on the INEC portal, OH released a statement expressing appreciation to his supporters, party members, & political associates for their prayers, solidarity and continued support.
In his statement,he wrote:Good evening, my good people of Oyo State, across Ibarapa, Òkè Ògùn, Oyo, Ibadan and Ògbómọ̀ṣọ́, to our committed Accord members, state and national executives, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Your love, prayers, solidarity and unwavering belief in this journey mean more than words can express. At every turn, you have continued to demonstrate that this is bigger than one man; it is about the people, their hopes and our collective future.
This recent development has put to rest several insinuations and raised questions about attempts to undermine our collective interest. But let me be clear: this is not the finish line; it is the beginning of a more demanding journey.
Now is not the time to relax, celebrate prematurely or become complacent. It is time to roll up our sleeves, strengthen our unity, deepen our engagement with the people and remain steadfast in our commitment. We must be ready to defend our mandate through lawful, peaceful and democratic means.
Let us also be realistic: the road ahead may not be easy. Those who disagree with us will continue to pursue their interests, and more challenges may come. But we must not be distracted, intimidated or divided. With our collective determination, discipline, continued prayers and faith in God, we will keep moving forward.
To everyone who has stood with me, spoken for me, prayed for me and continued to choose to believe in this journey, I am deeply grateful. I do not take your trust for granted, and I will continue to work hard to honour it. Your confidence in me is a responsibility I carry with humility, not a privilege I take for granted.
We have come this far together, and together we must do the work that lies ahead. Let us remain focused, organised, peaceful and committed to the people who matter most.
Thank you, Oyo State. Thank you, Accord family. Thank you for standing with me.
The work continues. The commitment remains

GARMC BLOG RADIO SHOW NEWS!
TRAM SHARES HIS BBNAIJA EXPERIENCE ON THE BEAT 99.9 FM LAGOS!
Big Brother Naija Season 11 fifth-place finalist, Joshua Opeyemi Alekewumi, popularly known as Tram, recently shared his experience on the reality TV show during an interview with Osi Suave, host of Morning Runz on The Beat 99.9 FM Lagos.
The interview took place two days ago as part of the media rounds featuring the BBNaija finalists, who visited various radio stations across Lagos.
You can watch Tram and the other finalists' interviews on The Beat 99.9 FM Lagos' YouTube channel.
IN OTHER NEWS: SPECULATIONS SURROUND TRAM'S ABSENCE FROM COOL FM LAGOS MEDIA ROUND
BBNaija followers on X, formerly Twitter, have been speculating about why Tram did not join the other finalists for their media appearance at Cool FM Lagos a few days ago.
Some fans have alleged that the winner of the BBNaija Season 11 Main Character of the Season award might have skipped the appearance because he heard that Cool FM had been castigating him over his altercation with fellow finalist Sheba of Cool Fm, who was once his friend in the BBNaija house.
However, GARMC Blog believes it would be premature to draw that conclusion without confirmation.
BBNaija finalists are typically expected to participate in scheduled media rounds as part of their post-show engagements. Therefore, we believe there could be another genuine reason behind Tram's absence, rather than the speculation currently circulating online.
Until Tram or the relevant parties provide clarification, the circumstances surrounding his absence remain unclear.

Day 39: Understanding the Legislature — Freezing the Electoral Act Ahead of 2027 📜🗳️🇳🇬

Days after the Supreme Court restored key provisions the Court of Appeal had struck down, the Senate shut the door on any Electoral Act review before 2027 — insisting the law, already in force and already used to produce party candidates, stays as is.

"How do you halt an Electoral Act that is already in use for a new one?" — Senate Committee Chairman Yemi Adaramodu.

Should rules stay frozen mid-race, or should Parliament fix gaps whenever they surface?
