We got a little sea lion surprise today! 😮

Since I’ve started to post, I thought I’d take a moment to introduce myself and share a few things about me. Hi, I’m Lindsay!

I live on Whidbey Island with my husband John (who looks a little like Amelia Bedelia’s dad). On Whidbey, we’re surrounded by deer, quail, and the occasional sea lion.

We love traveling together, most recently to Japan, and I like to paint. Sometimes, I’ll paint my travels.

One of my favorite books is ‘Archie Snufflekins Oliver Valentine Cupcake Tiberius’ written and illustrated by @katie.harnett. I love cats and especially Archie! (I like dogs too.)

I’ve been writing my own children’s books, and I’ll be sending one out for query soon. Give me a shout if there’s anything else you’d like to know 😘

📍 namba yasaka shrine, osaka
📍 katsuoji, minoh
📍 minoh falls & minoh park (where there were signs all over to not feed the monkeys but we didn’t see any monkeys 🥲)
