Trying to stop treating rest like something I have to earn.

There will always be something to do. Something to finish, figure out, or get ahead on. But I don’t want to keep putting off enjoying my life until everything is done.

Sometimes it’s lying on the beach with my favourite person. Feeling the breeze. Having nowhere to rush off to for a little while.

Life is full of responsibilities, but there’s room for little moments of joy, too. We’re allowed to enjoy them before the to do list is finished.

A reminder for me, and maybe you, take the break. Stop and smell the flowers. Let yourself enjoy the life you’re working so hard to build ✨💓

Whoever named this trick knew exactly what they were doing 👀

Welcome to episode 1 of Name That Trick!

I’m married to a freestyle motocross rider, so I figured it was time to put all these videos in my camera roll to good use.

Would you have guessed this one was called the Stripper? 🤭

A different kind of Thanksgiving this year. 🤎🍂

It’s funny how life can change so much in just one year.

This time last year, I had no idea what life would look like today. The places I’d go, the decisions I’d make, the people I’d miss, or the memories I’d create along the way.

This year has taught me so much about love, courage, letting go, and trusting the unknown.

I’m thankful for the people who have loved me through every version of myself. For the memories that feel a little more precious now that I’m so far from home. For a husband who I get to experience this crazy life with. And for the opportunities that have pushed me to grow in ways I never expected.

But more than anything, I’m learning that gratitude isn’t just about being thankful when life is good. It’s about finding something to be thankful for even when life feels uncertain.

My heart is so full, even if a little piece of it is back home today.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my Canadians. 🇨🇦❤️

One week in Dubai 🇦🇪

A few weeks ago we got married, and now we’re spending the winter on the other side of the world. It still feels a little surreal.

So far it’s been coffee at home, very sweaty walks, breathtaking sights, and me making friends with the local cats (obviously). We’re figuring things out as we go, and I’m excited to share this chapter with you 🤍

11 days before our wedding, Jordan crashed his dirt bike and shattered his hip.

What we hoped was only a dislocation turned into an overnight ER stay, a hospital transfer and surgery. Suddenly, we were having conversations about postponing the wedding we had spent so long planning.

I was terrified of making the wrong decision and for a moment, I almost let fear make it for us. Then I realized I needed to stop trying to control the outcome, surrender it to God and have faith that he would carry us through whatever came next.

Our wedding didn’t need to look exactly the way we had imagined. It didn’t need to be perfect. We just needed to choose each other, trust God’s plan and know that we could handle the rest together.

Eight days after surgery, Jordan stood up to dance with me as my husband. 🤍

Marriage isn’t about everything going according to plan. It’s about knowing who you want beside you when it doesn’t.

August 29, 2026
the most imperfectly perfect day of our lives. 🤍
