They say the best Glenn’s have two Ns… and do! 😏

We’re starting off our performance lineup with some magical words from not just a filmmaker, but a poet, a VO artist and overall incredible human being. 👏🏽

Glenn Robert Ford is a Brooklyn-based spoken word poet and lyricist known for weaving personal memoir with powerful narratives.

His work explores themes of struggle, romance, equality, and evolution-delivered through a voice that is as dynamic as it is introspective.

A commanding performer, Glenn invites audiences into spaces of truth, vulnerability, and reflection. Glenn has graced iconic stages including the Nuyorican Poets Café, Bowery Poetry Club, Voices in Power, Write About Now Poetry, and the Off-Broadway Triad Theater.

Be sure to grab your tickets to watch Glenn perform spoken word and connect with him Saturday, November 14 from 7-11pm! 🎟️

See you there! 🥳

"Closure" by filmmaker, actor and poet Glenn Robert Ford, was a powerful piece of art where two strangers from different sides of a same coin bond, bringing the audience to laugh and cry all within the length of the film.

Congratulations to this team and the incredible block at @nyshorts Seriously, I loved each and every film I saw.

And also congrats to Christian, featured in the cover photo on his film "What if" getting into the Poetry in Motion Film Festival!
So amazing to be surrounded by all these incredible artists!

Keep crushing all! Indie filmmaking is on fire this year!

Watching “Project Shadow” my first short film be premiered at @nyshorts was a surreal experience!
-
The film was born from an urge to start telling and creating bold, provocative and visceral cinema stories. It has inspired me to write and not be afraid of being truly seen and heard with within my art. Many more to come very soon 🎦
-
Extremely grateful for the cast and crew who helped make this film, the friends who showed up, and all the amazing filmmakers I got to meet!

A week late, but September deserved its own little moment. 💋

A month of dancing until my knees reminded me I’m not 22, chasing the sun, catching light, finding adventure, and making space for the kind of connection that fills you back up.

Because what is life if you spend all of it at home alone?

I’m growing deeper into my craft while staying rooted in who I am: my identity, my values, my core. Showing up for the people I love and supporting what they’re creating—because if you mean something to me, I’ll find a way to be there.

Working hard, playing harder, and trying to make this one life count.

September was beautiful. October is already coming in with its own kind of magic. Find me in the classroom, behind my desk, and on set this season. So many wonderful things unfolding, all by the grace of God. 💃🏽🙏🏽💅🏽
