Finally got some real japanese alpine Ski-Kite action! Long hike, beautiful scenery (if only the GoPro would have kept on recording!), Tired body!

Passing through the gate from a few years back!
.
❓Can you ride your Snowboard while crouching down? Or fully stood up? What about completely twisted?
Playing and increasing your range of mouvement but also learning to control the board in a sub optimal position is extremely beneficial for when you actually need that position!
.
ℹ️For a couple of runs in a day, try to play and challenge your riding by completely changing a part of your position to the extreme.

Cloud maker!
.
When riding among the trees, it is very important to look far ahead and plan your line, as any face shots will make you blind and increase your chances of hugging a tree 🤗!
.
Take it slow at first to give time to your brain to process all possible path options and as you practice, things will go faster and your speed will naturally increase.

During freeriding session, it is important to keep a stable position to be able to adapt our riding to the terrain and quickly react to the conditions.
.
A stacked position, knees bent, with the weight over the working edge. And a heavy use of those legs to steer the board, absorb the terrain and slash that pow!
.
We have plenty of amazing terrain in Yuzawa to learn and enjoy freeriding!

Early edging, very early edging with commitment!
Getting that edge grip early on to get the platform to be commit in the turn and get the board going for a smooth turn!
