a little glimpse into my time in victoria 🫍 my work conference in vic is actually what brought me to the west coast in the first place i opened up in one of my recent travel diaries about how environmentalism is really important to me - i actually work for an environmental nonprofit! the meeting i attended was with a smaller group within the environmental network i work with, and they focus on environmental impact assessment of projects. it’s a group of nonprofit reps, environmental lawyers, academics, and everyday people who care about protecting the environment and want to make a positive difference ♡ i’ve loved exploring vancouver, victoria, and everywhere from calgary to jasper, but i have to say victoria felt the most homey to me!! such a lovely city 🥹 and it didn’t hurt that i got to experience my first little rave and make some sweet new friends while i was there ✨👾😂🤍

POV: you accidentally turn putting on a drag show into an extreme sport. The shopping sprees. The crafting chaos. The choreography. The stunts. The hot glue burns. The questionable amount of money spent in the name of being sexy. Baby, I thought I was producing a show. Turns out I’m training for the fucking Drag Olympics with the enthusiasm of a raccoon on espresso 🦝 Anyway, the costumes are hot, the cast is hotter, and I’ve sacrificed my last functioning brain cell for your entertainment 💋 TRICKS & TREATS IS TOMORROW NIGHT! Drag, acrobatics, burlesque, and enough queer chaos to make all of your gay halloween dreams come true! 🎟️ Tickets are limited. Get yours NOW. Come watch us make terrible decisions look incredible. Blaze O’Glory is the loverboy pyromaniac your mother warned you about. He brings over a decade of professional acrobatics, seriously gravity-defying stunts, and a lot of dangerously prolonged eye contact to the stage. Recently risen from the dead and somehow hotter for it, Blaze is here to raise hell, steal your heart, and leave you seriously questioning whether what you just saw was a trick or a treat. #VictoriaDrag #HalloweenDrag #DragKing #VictoriaEvents #yyjevents
