The Discourse Party | Commonweal Magazine https://share.google/EnbGrv7HTjihETnhh "The Democratic Party needs centrists capable of self-criticism and leftists capable of self-discipline." ******** I think I can buy that!??! The ecological footprint in global acres for the average Iranian is about 9 and it is about 20 for us U.S. citizens. We have 3700 nuclear warheads and Iran has none. .............. Who is Truly (morally/ethically) de facto doing more damage to natural-Nature & Living Earth? ... Who is the real existential threat to humanity? Am I missing something??? *********** Love, paul bain, in vain, martin* (pbm, who in his heart, soul, & mind KNOWS! our key needs are ... 1. ecological literacy ... 2. deweaponization ... 3. Degrowth ... 4. sustainable agrarianism ... 5. equity) ******** By the way, in my mind ... in many ways of viewing things ... "to hell with the high price of gas; it needs to be much higher!" ... "to hell with the 'affordability' of all the STUFF we think we need!" ... "to hell with jobs; we need sustainable livelihoods!" ... "to hell with (industrial) agriculture" ... ... and I could go on & on with my "'to hells' in this corrupt, chaotic system of rampant artificiality on Eaarth".

Talarico leads Paxton by 5 points in new Texas Senate poll https://share.google/SRJcmlXQ4im0xi9oa ********** I, of course, can not imagine how ANYONE could vote for Paxton. Friends & I from Clean Seguin did attend an energetic Talarico rally in Lockhart, Texas this eve of July 28, 2026! paul bain martin (I am certain Talarico is for widespread & profound socio-ecological literacy across the populace. ... And that WOULD be a good start toward sustainable ecological community and quality life for all!)

A note sent to Judge Kyle Wayne Kutscher by paul bain ("in vain") martin, aka "Don Quixote", this morning before I bicycle to OLG Mass & then head to a Democratic gathering on this fine day in Clean Seguin: "Of course, young man ... I now know you don't really give a shit about me & my desperate Hope for changing deplorable Eaarth to a neo(sustainable)-Earth of quality life for ALL of humanity and other biota (i.e., for a dynamic homeostatic symbioses, including Homo saphead, ... for the long term). Nevertheless, I MUST say that I am severely disappointed & ashamed of you & your actions**. Love, paul bain martin (In Solidarity toward PEACEful 'Degrowth'* & Sustainable Ecological Agrarianism/Communitarianism ... Socio-ecological literacy; Demilitarization; 'Degrowth'*; Local/global sustainable ecological ['indigenous'] agrarianism/communitarianism; Equity through profoundly holistic Inclusion toward increasing bioDiversity) ............. *The quotes are because I want "DEGROWTH of artificialization" ... but "GROWTH in individual & collective wisdom & prudence"!!! **Especially recent actions re a proposed data center in Guadalupe County!

Cardinal McElroy: Why the Catholic Church can and should judge the morality of the Iran war - America Magazine https://share.google/IhGSKx6qUrC0rPENy ********** Good article!!! I think all of humanity might benefit through reading/scanning of material in the right of center politically, "The Economist"; middle-of-the road "NYT"; left-of-center "The Week"; & the Catholic, "America" & "Commonweal". (And personally I read "The New Yorker" & "The Atlantic" [& the "Seguin Gazette"] ... and used to always read the WSJ & the "SA Express-News".). Moreover, I realize that I am basically labeled as an anarchic heretic; ... however, it bothers me greatly that some spend their time almost totally/ practically only reading or listening to the religious dogma & doctrine of the Bible or the Quran; or "the Constitution"' or Das Kapital; or of the neoliberal-capitalistic "dogma & doctrine"/negative propaganda of "current" MAGA, Trumpism, Texas A&M, etc. Sort of contrary to stating that I am an anarchic heretic ... being "an independent" also bothers me. ... As a "communitarian" (and I believe we all should be profoundly & holistically actively-involved in ecological community to the extent possible), I personally basically IDENTIFY as an activist applied-ecologist; a voter & active citizen of Seguin, Guadalupe County, Texas, the U.S., and the world; an ignostic Roman Catholic; a 2%er Aggie, and a Democrat ... but wannbe Democratic Eco-Socialistc. paul bain john martin (In Solidarity toward PEACEful Degrowth & Sustainable Ecological Agrsrianism/Communitarianism)

Well ... Aristole pointed out that we humans are political animals ... and whether we try to "duck it" with denial & apathetical laziness, or simply blind faith & prayer, or a materialistc-/consumerism-"I'm too busy"/unethical avoidance ... or not ... all things for us are political! ("Politics is the process of making collective decisions, managing power relationships, and resolving conflicts within any group, organization, or society. It extends beyond government to include negotiation, persuasion, and influence in daily life, such as workplaces or communities, focusing on how power is used to shape human interaction.") Anyway, Pope Leo is a very Good man, as was the Prince of Peace, Jesus of Nazareth; St. Francis of Assisi (a pioneer of Christian nonviolence and a profound peacemaker); and Leo's amazingly great & wise predecessor, Pope Francis. ... Pope Leo is doing what is right as a leader for PEACE ... and speaking out and taking action to stop & prevent constant War (Wars against those humans who are different and also desire some Power over Land & resources) and to effectively battle the de facto neoliberal capitalistic War that is detrimental to poor & powerless have-nots & that is "contra" Nature (It involves rampant exploitation of the natural resource base.) and socio-ecological justice!!! o Wish we'd have an "extended-Martin/Kneuper family & close friends" reunion in Landa Park-New Braunfels, Texas this year (2026) in July or August ... with some short (15-minute) presentations of family history & stories for about 2 &1/2 hours or so. Believe it should be organized by some youngsters!!! o Hard for me to believe that 10 years ago at almost 70 I bicycled for Bernie & sustainable ecological community for 3+ months from Burlington, Vermont down to Quincy, Florida and then across back home to Texas. ... Like to do something like this again before I pass. o I am so very sick of mind-pretzeled defenses, supportive-apologies, excuses, and support of Trump and his absolutely immoral and socio-ecologically destructive behaviors/Powerfully evil actions. paul bain, "in vain", martin In Solidarity toward PEACEful Degrowth and Sustainable Ecological Agrarianism/Communitarianism ********* Breaking All the Rules (feat. We more- & more- & more- obviously really messed up in giving this selfishly insane-human any visibility & Power at all during any portion of his corrupt, flimflamming & immorally destructive life. pbm ******** #LIVE | Trump threatens attacks on Iran's infrastructure in expletive-laden post Donald Trump threatened in a Truth Social post laced with expletives to attack Iranian infrastructure on Tuesday if Tehran does not halt its retaliatory blockade of the Strait of Hormuz. "Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!! Open the Fuckin’ Strait, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in Hell - JUST WATCH," the president of the United States wrote on Easter Sunday (April 5), adding the words "Praise be to Allah". In another post he also claimed that the rescue of the second US pilot from Iran was a rarely attempted type of operation because of the potential dangers involved. He also gave details of the rescue of the first pilot, who Trump said was rescued in “broad daylight” after seven hours over Iran. --- Day 37 of US-Israel War on Iran | As all eyes remain on the war in Iran, Israeli attacks on Gaza and Lebanon continue. https://www.instagram.com/p/DWoal7LE_jT/?igsh=enZwbzF4emIwbWV6 ********* Trump really doesn't care about our True history of continued "original sinning" and recent colonizer disgracefulness & complacency within the general populace of the U.S. ... in terms of realizing real humaneness for indigenous peoples, ... ALL of humanity, living in concert with Nature, and socio-ecological justice. (We had made some real progress [perhaps most noteworthy for indigenous peoples in 1924, 34, 46, 75, 78, 94 [I'll let you research it). But with the ignorant, stupid, foolish and extremely arrogant MAGA movement, we have become a deplorable part of a serious backlash!) We all (and especially Trump & Trumpians & Trumpsters) could Truly learn so much from the indigenous peoples of Turtle Island if we just cared a bit more. You probably won't be able to get into these newspaper stories unless you subscribe to the online Seguin Gazette ... but I must say that Seguin & The Seguin Gazette has been pretty nice to this "conservation & sustainable ecological community"- gadfly ... through the years. I came across these past stories dealing with local sustainable community while googling for today's Sunday March 29th, 2026 story on the Seguin LULAC Foundation Community Garden! ********* Seguin-area community gathers to celebrate planet, businesses | News | seguingazette.com https://share.google/CeJ9vrUJHIkWQ9A5G Martin: Schools must take bigger steps toward sustainability | Community Columnists | seguingazette.com https://share.google/WwQurteIF8RbpgwyD Martin: Striving for a bit of utopia in what is dystopia for many | Community Columnists | seguingazette.com https://share.google/arrWOXf8lTP2nnv0I Com amor, pablo bain martin (In Solidarity toward PEACEful Degrowth and Sustainable Ecological Agrarianism/Communitarianism)
