One major thing I’ve learnt whilst chasing my dreams over the last 2 years is that sometimes, I just have to do it.

My emotions, energy levels, bank balance and motivation will all fluctuate. Some days I’ll feel unstoppable, other days I’ll feel tired, behind or like I’m not moving fast enough.

But my discipline and my faith in what can be done HAS to remain strong.

Greatness is rarely achieved through ease. So on the hard days, I keep my head up, my eyes focused and I keep pushing through — knowing that eventually, it will all be worth it.

And honestly? I’m already living in the dream I once prayed for.

So I know it can only get better. 🤍

Just. Keep. Going.

“For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.” Hebrews 12:11

July dump….Lately, I’ve caught myself feeling overwhelmed by how full life has been.

Then I stopped and realised...

This is the life I used to pray for.

Not because every day is perfect, but because the things I once hoped for have quietly become part of my everyday life.

A gentle reminder to pause, look around, and thank God for the prayers He’s already answered.

Happy August Twirls. 🤍

Looking back at June, my honest thought is... how did I fit all of that in?

The answer? I honestly don’t know if I ever really stopped. 😅

But wow, what a beautiful month it was.💓

One of my sisters GOT MARRIED 🤍, I celebrated my friends’ gorgeous babies (and the little Baby Byrne still to come 🥹), glo finally found a home, I spent precious time with friends, worked what felt like 50 different jobs, and found moments of stillness worshipping my God amongst it all.

June reminded me that building something meaningful isn’t always glamorous. Some weeks feel exciting and full of momentum, others feel slower and heavier. But I’m learning that faithfulness often looks like simply showing up again.

I’m so proud of everything that was achieved this month, but I’m equally ready for a summer filled with slower moments and more time with my gorgeous family, who I’ve missed A LOT.

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9🤍

Younger Miss KA would have absolutely loved this one 🤍

Last weekend I was invited to speak on a mentors panel at a Thrive event surrounded by young entrepreneurs, creatives and founders.

As someone who’s spent the last few years building businesses, taking risks and figuring things out as I go, it was such a privilege to be part of these conversations.

I left feeling inspired to dream bigger, trust the process a little more and continue building the things placed on my heart.

To Latoya and Joy — thank you for creating the kind of space so many young people need. You’re building something really special ✨

Started running 3 months ago… now I’m here 🤍

A little reminder that something small to someone else can be huge for you — and it’s all worth celebrating. Huge shout out to @hardysrunclub 💚✨

February Dump 🗑️🤍✨The month the sun returned. Engagements and 30ths were celebrated, 2819 Crusades left a mark I’m still finding the words for, and I felt endlessly inspired by the incredible things my friends are achieving.

But it wouldn’t be me if I wasn’t honest and didn’t say it also held some harder moments. Moments that don’t define me, but create space for growth — even when they’re not easy.

My motto this month has been I choose my hard.
I choose the hard of chasing my dreams, healing, and stepping into the woman I know God has designed me to be ✨

🗑️✨🤍🫶🏼🙏🏻 January looked a lot like the vision board. Showing up in the gym, nourishing my body with lots of yummy whole foods, building my business, spending time with my loved ones, choosing and prioritising rest and celebrating the people around me.

Quiet discipline. Full days. Grateful heart.

Proverbs 16:3✨

One year ago, I left the job I once dreamed of — with no guaranteed work, only a quiet nudge toward something more aligned.

Since then?
More peace, more purpose, more time with the people I love — and a vision I believe in deeply.

It hasn’t been easy, but it’s been worth it.
Stability isn’t always found on paper.
And sometimes… the unknown holds the biggest blessings. 🤍

So twirls — follow the dream, take the leap, and action your faith.

LETS TALK…building muscle as a performer💪🏻💃🏻
•
I’ve just come out of my first official muscle building phase and woah have I learnt so much. For so long and for so many reasons I’ve not had a physique goal but after a long journey(which I’ll save for another day), I decided with the help of my gorgeous coach it was time as I wanted to well, build muscle😂 Here are my top 5 things I’ve learnt in this time:
•
1. Muscle building will not make you fat/bulky. ❌ If done properly, with good guidance and if you take your time you can still keep a fairly lean physique.
•
2. It’s amazing with a little more fuel how much more your body can do. I feel fitter than ever, my body recovers quicker, I feel so much more supported in my dance and I can lift pretty darn heavy which feels goood 😎
•
3. Discipline is key. You won’t make progress every week despite having the extra food. Life still happens(along with hormones especially🤪) and so you won’t always have the motivation.
•
4. You can’t “eat what you want”. I use quotations as of course in life we can all eat what we want but what we put in affects so many aspects of your day to day life and so prioritising whole foods and having an 80/20 approach is key. ⚖️
•
5. People will give their unwarranted opinions and you have to be strong enough to be on the journey for you and no one else. Unfortunately, so many people in the performance industry have not unlearned the bad habits that exist and will comment on the fact you’re changing your body to be “bigger” in ways. Keep your head held high, be confident and surround yourself with encouraging people💞
