Close to 250 intelligent but financially handicapped Ugandan University students have gone through a University-Lecturer founded scholarship programme in Uganda called Test for Uganda. Having been one of the lucky students to be picked up and sponsored at the University after a dead year, following a lot of financial difficulties, I gave back the best way I could: By telling an inspiring story of the overcomers, shining light on their struggles and resonating it with the audience all over the world..

And it worked!! I proudly announce our charity film: “Test for Uganda” This is a deep dive into the triumphant, emotional stories of five of the beneficiaries teleporting us into the world of how they overcame.

This film has been nominated in the biggest charity awards in the UK called Smiley Charity Film Awards, competing with the best of the best films around the world, thanks to the Director of Photography: @emmanuelgash , Sound recorder and Editor: @mcwilliams_w who offered their immeasurable talent, free of charge and our TEST Alumni who worked so hard to see this vision come to life.

I call upon you to vote for this film to receive the people’s choice award that would give it the opportunity for exposure so that many more University students could receive sponsorship in the five public Universities in Uganda and also empower and uplift students and learners all over the world who need this inspiring message to start the fight all over again. You’d be doing the continent a goodness that is unique and humbling.
