This one’s a classic goody of mine 🔥

My good friend and client (@glomas_____ ) arguably had one of the most insane comebacks I’ve witnessed as a trainer of 11 years.

We first started training about 1 year before his car accident.

At the time of the accident, he catapulted out of the car, unconscious all to wake up from a 12hr surgery wondering what the **** happened.

Metal screws & plates in his arm and leg, followed by 9 months of bedridden disability.

Once he was cleared, we learned to crawl again, before we can learn to walk, and eventually run. (Not literally).

He couldn’t even do a bodyweight squat nor hold himself up in a push up position without severe discomfort due to the atrophy in his limbs.

How did we approach this?

3 full body sessions a week.

At first everything was centered around rehab. Strengthening our joints and tendons, learning how to move appropriately, to inevitably tolerating light>moderate>heavy loads.

This is all btw whilst juggling working overtime too btw.

Honestly if I was in Tomas’s shoes at that time, idk if even I would have had what it takes to make a comeback like he has.

The strongest he’s ever been.

The best he’s ever felt.

The best he’s ever looked.

All while still setting off metal detectors 🤣

Proud of this kid. A lot of us can take notes from experience. 👏

I know this looks like we’re trying to rage bait the crazy witch lady in the ADU across the street but in reality we’re preparing ourselves for her next course of hopeless retaliation 😂 💀
