Antic is back at TLC this November, scelebrating the Scorpios in our lives this time around. In addition to your usual madmen @qtc_chicago and @nate.thompson3 (Scorpio), we have invited two of the strongest record slingers in the city, Sold! @glorbis and Tiny Muscle Demon @tinymuscledemon (Scorpio). Sold: Sold has been a Chicago DJ for over a decade now, playing all over the city during that time, from clubs like Smartbar, bars and DIY spaces in between. They have been a Gramaphone employee for over 11 years and love trying to recommend the weirdest cuts to people who will listen. They also run the label Lizard Label with their spouse, Hi-Vis. TMD (she/her): Hailing from just northwest of Chicago, TMD is a rising force behind the decks and a fresh face quickly making waves in the city’s dance music scene. Encouraged by a tight-knit crew of seasoned DJs and armed with a background in classical music, she dove headfirst into the craft in July 24' and hasn’t looked back since. In a matter of years, she’s developed a sound that’s all her own: a dynamic fusion of old-school rave energy, deep house textures, and left-of-center techno and breaks. Her sets are unpredictable in the best way, equal parts nostalgia and surprise, groove and grit. Mark your calendars for 11/06/26 and prepare for an Antic filled with slammers, oddities and left turns, all necessities for all movers and groovers. 10:00 PM to Late 10$ for members, 15$ for non-members DM for address And a cool flyer by @sadpartyclown For your minimal listening pleasure...

Time to announce our August edition of Clark St Jams at @lh_schubas This time we’ve got a double Grammy DJ lineup ft alumni Slowerson and Clark St Jams organizer @glorbis running the decks all night. Join us August 7th from 9PM-1am FREE all night! Gramaphone alumni Slowerson has been DJing in Chicago since emigrating from Moscow in the early 2000s. In that time, he’s built a reputation for extended, eclectic sets ranging from jazz to minimal techno to industrial to drum n bass. He’s a mainstay at underground parties at Podval and The Listening Club, and he held a 15 year residency at Chicago’s infamous karaoke-sake lounge Murasaki. sold has been a Chicago DJ for over a decade now, playing all over the city during that time, from clubs like Smartbar, bars and DIY spaces in between. They have been a Gramaphone employee for over 10 years and love trying to recommend the weirdest cuts to people who will listen. They also run the label Lizard Label with their spouse, Hi-Vis.

Deeply honored and ridiculously excited to be playing Honcho Campout this year 😭 This party changed my life and I’d rather play music here than really anywhere on this planet. Been going to Campout every year since 2021 and the amount of dear friendships, beautiful music, and cathartic release it has provided me over the years is unquantifiable. Hoping to give even a fraction of that love back this year at Hemlock Hole on Saturday from 2:30PM-4:30PM.

@systemactivate From August 21st through August 24th, 2026, you are invited to System Activate II, Patterns of New Growth, a rave in the forest of central Vermont. For our second ecstatic year, System Activate will set up the 42,000 watt LUV NRG Soundsystem in a beautiful hilltop clearing. Our dancefloor, surrounded by pine trees, is the perfect space to celebrate a 3 day rite of the Motherbeat. The land we are using is private and beautiful, but it is raw real nature. The paths are uneven and there is a trek uphill to reach the dancefloor. There will be no glamping or creature comforts, but there is plenty of campground for everyone, drinkable well water, and porta potties (no showers). You will need a ride to get there—the event site is 2.5 hours from Boston, 3 hours from Montreal and 5 hours from Brooklyn. Each car needs a parking pass, which can be purchased in addition to a ticket. We have arranged a charter bus from NYC to the event site. We strongly encourage folks to carpool & travel in groups up to the site—write friends or post on our discord to organize. This year, for the first time, we are expanding our Sunday programming, offering a “last dance” from Sunday afternoon into evening. Everyone is invited to spend Sunday night resting on the land and asked to depart by 11am on Monday morning. We cannot wait to welcome you all back to the space and share in this experience together. Tickets are limited and currently live at our ticket link. We look forward to dancing together, to touching the ineffable, and most of all, to continuing to build this together. - Maya, Eris, Fait and Blaire Flyer by @shcuro based on collages featured in the cyanotype artist book “A Sequence of Spaces” by Christopher Kardambikis. #EventBoard

simmerdown 09 arrives from Farplane, a Chicago-based duo comprised of sold @glorbis and Hi-Vis @lexciya_ . Farplane fuses both of their tastes across the spectrum of psychedelic, groovy, ambient, and technoid electronic sounds to induct ecstatic trance states. They co-run Lizard label and have previously collaborated on the deep listening portion of Eris Drew’s Motherbeat raves. Marking another joining of these two spirits, this shared mix unfolds like light breaking through fog. Glimmering textures and propulsive rhythms create a dreamlike atmosphere suspended in desire and mystery
