🤙🏼 WEEKLY RAD ALERT 🤙🏼

August is officially in full swing ☀️
Summer schedules are all over the place, vacations are happening, kids are home, and somehow the days are flying by.

That’s exactly why this week, we’re keeping it simple: show up, do what you can, and keep the routine moving.

A few things to knock out this week:
✅ Book your sessions in the app
✅ Get a few meals planned ahead
✅ Get outside and enjoy the last stretch of summer
✅ Don’t let one busy day turn into a whole week

You don’t need to be perfect to make progress. You just need to keep showing up. 🤙🏼

Luc joined Stoked in her 60s feeling weak and frustrated

Now?
✅ She lost weight + built muscle
✅ She’s stronger + more confident than ever
✅ Everyday life (hikes, long walks) feels easier
✅ Her confidence skyrocketed

She even told us: “I had a couple of falls in the last couple of years, and I wholeheartedly believe if I didn’t have Stoked behind me, it could have been catastrophic.”

Strength training isn’t JUST about the gym or looks. It’s about staying independent, confident, and capable for decades to come.

💪🏼 Ready to feel stronger than ever through EVERY stage of life (yes, perimenopause and beyond)?

Join us at 6:30 pm on October 22nd for a 60-minute workshop with Dr. Katie Rowan: Thriving Through Perimenopause.

You ever wonder why your back still hurts - even though you’ve been doing all those crunches?

Here’s the thing: Crunches aren’t wrong…

They’re just not the whole story.

Your core isn’t just there to flex your spine or give you abs that pop in the mirror.
Its real job? Stabilizing, resisting, and transferring force - in all directions.

That means if your training only hits one or two core functions, you’re leaving strength on the table… and your back at risk.

The truth? A real, resilient core is built on 8 essential movement patterns:

👉🏼Anti-rotation (think resisting twisty forces)
👉🏼Anti-flexion (resisting collapse during deadlifts)
👉🏼Anti-extension (protecting your spine during planks or push-ups)
👉🏼Anti-lateral flexion (sideways stability for real life)
👉🏼Plus rotation, flexion, extension, and lateral flexion - done right

Train these, and your whole body benefits.
Better posture, stronger lifts, less pain, more confidence.

At Stoked Athletics, we coach our clients through these patterns with smart, personalized programming - designed to build real strength, not just sweat.

💪🏽If you’re ready to stop guessing and start training smarter, our 14-day trial is the easiest way in… head to our link in bio to get started! 🔗

No fluff. Just coaching, community, and core strength that actually carries over to real life.

Another year, another Stokedies!

I have a lot of trouble slowing down and seeing just how much growth we’ve had at Stoked both with the business and our community.

5 years ago, we emptied the small amount we had in our bank account to put down our first month and security on the gym, and packed up the Facebook Market benches and dumbbells from the CrossFit I was renting from and moved in.

Since then, we’ve grown to a place I’ve always dreamed of being. We have the greatest members, the best team I could ask for, and a mission we are all proud of.

Thank you to everyone who has made this a reality and given us the best jobs possible!
