Day 3 of @blacktechweek — and this was the one. 🔥

Every day of this week fed me something, but today impacted me the most. From the opening session with Ramon Ray to the keynote conversation between Damola Adamolekun (CEO of Red Lobster) and Candice Matthews Brackeen (Founder of Lightship Foundation and the visionary behind BTW) — I sat in those rooms and felt something shift.

I walked into this week new to the industry. I’m walking out ACTIVATED.

Activated to build. Activated to stop shrinking my work. Activated to take up space in rooms I used to talk myself out of — because this week proved the room has space for what I carry.

Day 1, I stepped outside my comfort zone. Day 2, I retired the disclaimer. Day 3, I found my fire.

Black Tech Week, thank you. Cincinnati, thank you. To every person who poured into me this week — the bridge continues. 🌉

Circa 2016.
Small rooms. Trusted friends. Real worship.
Before stages ever mattered.
This is where it started.

Just us and Jesus.
Tag those I missed.

What a night.
We gathered, we worshiped, and God met us in a powerful way.
This recap is just a glimpse of what He did—but we’ll never forget how it felt to be in that room together.

Thank you to every singer, musician, partner, and worshiper who helped make this night unforgettable.

This was 2013! The Lord said “something special happens when you gather worship leaders in one room and just let them flow out of their anointing” - we called nights like this “Worship Shed Sessions” - Eventually CROSS WORSHIP NIGHTS grew out of nights like this - that soon birthed a community of people who didnt mind putting their titles, agendas, etc aside to just gather and worship as one and that became “Cross Worship”

Things like this go down when worshippers have keys to local churches and who don’t mind unlocking the doors on late nights just so we could spend sometime in the presence of the Lord TOGETHER. No crowd, no recordings, no programs… just HIM. #humblebeginnings #thefewthings #SimpleThings
