As someone who works in dermatology AND has sensitive skin, I’ve always been a little skeptical of facials. I’ve had experiences in the past that left my skin irritated instead of refreshed so I honestly stopped getting them. But I have to say, my experience at Glowbar was a pleasant surprise! ✨

Booking online was super easy, communication leading up to my appointment was great, and I was taken in right on time. The space was incredibly clean, and my esthetician was so knowledgeable. She walked me through everything she was doing, explained the treatments, and was happy to answer all my questions.

The fact that they fit so much into a 30 minute appointment was insane 🤯

Thank you @glowbar and @remedyskin for the experience! 🤍

Are you someone who regularly gets facials, or are you skeptical of them too? 👀

l’ve never had a more gentle yet effective facial! Thank you @remedyskin and @glowbar for this amazing experience. 🧡

Special shoutout to my amazing facialist, Destiny, who listened to every one of my concerns, wrote down my entire skincare routine and kept checking in with me about my level of comfort throughout the entire facial.

Let me tell you, you can get a lot done in 30 minutes!

Story time! It was nine years ago today that I bought the @glowbar Instagram account from a true angel 😇 I had DM’ed Larisa that I had an idea for a business and was hoping she would be open to giving me the instagram account as it didn’t seem like she had been using it. A day later she wrote back explaining that a friend of hers was sick and a donation in exchange for transferring me the IG would be helpful.

Of course my answer was an effusive yes 💕 Then the most touching part for me was when she updated the password to “good luck rachel 100”. I’ll never forget this moment where this little idea started to truly manifest.

If you need it, this is your sign to take your shot. Ask to buy the IG. And you may make a new virtual friend in the meantime ✨

Thank you, Larisa. You were one of the first pieces of this glowing puzzle to come together 9 years ago and I’ll never forget your kindness 💘

And just last year she even had a client come visit her who goes to @glowbar Tribeca ✨ If this isn’t the universe I don’t know what is 🪐
