The Practice of Noticing 🌹

As the sun reaches its peak and the longest day of the year unfolds, we gather as a sacred pause to celebrate and soften the edges of our busy lives. To return to something more intuitive, more connected. To notice a turning point and feel it for what it is.

Solstice marks an ending and a beginning occupying the same moment. Light going one way and then, without pause, going another…

Likewise, you are always somewhere in transition. Something in life is always at its peak, or its depth, or quietly shifting in a direction you hadn’t fully registered yet.

This is an invitation to notice ~

To step beyond the mind and into the body.
To sit still a moment longer.
To move with more abandon.
To let your voice rise.
To breathe with ease.

Whatever it is. Even if it cannot be named. To notice is enough.

Join us for ceremony, sound bath, breathwork and more over these next few weeks to tune into the turning point of our internal and external seasons ❤️🌹🥀✨

After over two decades in this industry, it was time to say goodbye to our home studio, our first studio, and take the leap into this light filled space.

We are grateful to say the least 🩵🦋🧜‍♀️🌿🌸🌝💫✨

The warmth. The trust. The laughs. The lunges. The community that continues to grow in this sweet little sanctuary has been the greatest gift!!! It takes a community to make it all possible. We don’t take a single day of it for granted!!!

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts 🙏

Your hair holds more than you think… ✨

We’re so honoured to welcome Courtney to the She Rises Wellness Village — offering deeply intentional, soul-led experiences that blend hair, energy work, and transformation.

Isn’t it interesting how we are often called to change our hair during times of big transition? How a fresh cut can leave us feeling lighter and renewed like a past version has been shed? Or how attached we can be to it.. how vulnerable, and scary, it can feel to let go.

Hair is more than just aesthetic. It is a crystalline structure and an extension of the nervous system sensing, transmitting and responding to information. Think about how the hair ‘stands on end’ when the body experiences something significant. Just like antennae attuned to the unseen world, it is an intrinsic part of us. It holds our DNA, carries memories, and built up over time, the imprints of stress and our experiences.

It’s no wonder cutting our hair can feel as empowering as it does emotional.

When done with intention by honouring what the hair has held, releasing what no longer serves, and consciously asserting what is next, a haircut can become an act of alchemy. Not only transforming your look but also the potential for your entire life. (Timeline shifting, anyone?)

With a combined 20 years experience as an Integrated Energy Therapist, Sound Healer & Cosmetologist, Courtney is bringing the world of hairdressing and alchemy back together.

We’re so excited to have her with us at @sherisesfestival offering 2 services:

💆🏼‍♀️ Healing Haircuts — Alchemical haircuts fused with intention, sound therapy, healing touch & releasing ritual (60-120mins. Price varies)

👑 Crown, Sound & Cranio Sessions — Healing touch, sound therapy & channeled transmissions (25 mins $50 for one person $80 for 2)

Outside of the festival you can find Courtney for private IET sessions and group / couples sound baths at @glowholistics Union Bay studio, twice a month @moceanyoga for community sound baths and at @carbonhaircompany for haircuts Mondays and Tuesdays in Cumberland. "
