Before you decide you’re behind, count how many times you’ve gotten back up.

Homeless as a teenager. Built a business in my 20s without a college degree. Navigated divorce, betrayal, chronic illness, and grief. Kept storefronts alive through a pandemic, protests, and riots.

Now I’m 45, taking my work around the world. And if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that starting again doesn’t mean starting from scratch. 🤎

Almost 20 years in and I still LOVE watching an idea turn into something real 💙

Good coffee (hellloo @colectivocoffee) great conversations, beautiful spaces (hiii @usbankcenter) and a full-circle moment for a girl who started her career working with hotel brands and now gets to grow her own business alongside them. Hiiii @westinmilwaukee 👋

BEYOND THE GLOW 🤎 I invited @jenndieas_ from @glowoutsalons all the way from the US to Antwerp to share her knowledge, techniques, and passion with a group of fellow spray tan artists.

We came together to learn about contouring, but we left with so much more.

We shared tips, experiences, stories, lots of laughs, and probably learned just as much from each other as we did from the masterclass itself.

I’ve always believed that knowledge is meant to be shared, not kept to yourself. There’s room for all of us, and we’re so much better when we support each other instead of seeing each other as competition.

And honestly, seeing everyone connect was my favorite part of the day.

To every artist who joined us: THANK YOU for making this day so special. 🤎

And Jenn, that was fun, wasn’t it? I think we should do it again. What do you say?

Nothing changes if nothing changes. 🤍

A little behind the scenes from Belgium with @sprayspecs, @glowoutsalons + @prettycreativecompany.

We trained, tested equipment, talked shop, met artists, made content, and somehow turned a room full of people from different places into something that felt really connected.

And getting to introduce more people to @sprayspecs made it even more fun.

We knew we were building something. I’m not sure we knew it would fit quite like this. ✌🏻✨

Taking a trip shouldn’t just mean doing your job from somewhere prettier. 🤍

While I was in Wales, @muse was handling payroll, scheduling, follow-ups, outreach and team messaging. After 20 years of building businesses, having room to breathe without a mountain of catch-up waiting for me is a pretty big deal.

This is why we build systems at @prettycreativecompany. I love what I do. I also wanted to enjoy Europe while I was actually there.
