Life lately…

This month, I turned 55.🙏🏾

I didn’t make a birthday post, but I quietly took it all in, and poured into myself. I allowed myself to be present, to be and feel loved, to appreciate the little moments, and to simply be grateful for the gift of another year. Birthdays have a way of making you look back and look forward at the same time, so I found myself reflecting on the lessons, the growth, the things I’ve had to let go of, and how I want to move through this next chapter of my life.

I think sometimes we’re so busy looking ahead that we forget to stop and appreciate the life we’re living right now. It doesn’t have to be perfect or extraordinary to be beautiful. There is so much beauty, joy, and peace in simply being present enough to notice the good.

I’m grateful for where I’ve been, at peace with where I am, and looking forward to what’s still unfolding.
