Introducing @jennyiivanova for “Parallel 42”

“Reflecting on the role of the portrait in the 21st century, I decided to create a series of personas. Striving to expand its boundaries and my own, as well as to establish a genuine connection with the viewer, these are personas freed from any external influence, who can fully explore their own identity. The idealised world that surrounds them unfolds as if on a theatrical stage: an almost voyeuristic view of a dream or a perfect moment in which you are most important.”

thank you letter ✉️

Thank you.
On Thursday 13/11/25 I was part of a magazine launch with other amazing artists in Shoreditch London , @photobookcafe I showcased commercial and accessible pieces from my final major collection Spirit st.

Heritage and culture is the only thing were born in but also have the power to create. As a new generation of creatives and observers it’s our obligation to progress culture and keep it alive and accessible to all. It’s something our parents and theirs fought hard to sustain and it is our turn to push it further.

The support shown at and outside the event for this monumental moment of cultural exchange was beyond any expectations i had for it. Your kind words and meaningful conversation of art and culture has motivated me to push myself even further. To provide you guys something meaningful and lasting.

Special thanks to @gluh.world @thatonesabina for hosting and organising this paragon of all that is free and spontaneous.

Please stay tuned for future events and exhibitions !

TONIGHT 🙌🏻

GLUH is a publication and culture platform exploring belonging through different formats and projects.

Its second edition, “Parallel 42”, brings together 11 artists whose stories, practices, and roots are tied to an area of the world along the 42nd parallel north. Exploring a new landscape of artists connected to this region, the publication looks at how memory, change, and distance shape creative work. From Milko Boyarov, Slavadelic, and Aaron Roth to Harita Asumani, this issue presents a new aesthetic and a wave of artists who bring their own backgrounds and stories of change into art, music, design, and jewellery.

Curated and published by GLUH / Sabina Plamenova.

@chicho_ti_rondo @mojogoro108 @milko_boyarov @geee_nao @lilia.toncheva.orourke @nevabalnikova @_gery_georgieva @h_asumani @slavadelic @dena_ftb @jennyiivanova
