We are excited to announce that our former player, Caitlyn Bennett has signed to study & play for Georgia Military College in the USA 🇺🇸

Caitlyn Bennett is 20 years old, whose soccer journey began in 2018 at the age of 13, inspired by her younger brother, whom she supported at his games. 🙏🤞

Her journey started at Supersport Soccer Schools, where she developed the fundamental skills and passion for the game. Through dedicated 1-on-1 training with Jozi Talent, Sports Science Conditioning, Coach Joshues Sauls, and Elite 1-on-1, she grew both on and off the field.🔥

In her first two years, she played for Panorama Football Club.
With no girls’ team available at the time, she competed with boys to gain valuable game time and a deeper understanding of the sport. In 2021, Panorama formed a Women’s Regional Team competing in the Johannesburg Women’s Regional League, where she continued to develop and compete at a higher level.♥️

Throughout her journey, she participated in prestigious tournaments such as the Pirates Cup, Engen Knockout Challenge, GWST Tournament and also Captained the U19 Rand Central team to victory at the 2024 KZN District Invitational Tournament while gaining recognition along the way. The 2024/2025 season was especially memorable, as Panorama Ladies finished second two years in a row and qualified for the Sasol League Playoffs for the first time in the club’s history.🏆

In 2023, she traveled to Atlanta, Georgia, with Sports Science Conditioning to trial at five colleges and universities, showcasing her talent and pursuing her dream of playing and studying in the USA.
Today, she is studying and playing college soccer at Georgia Military College 🔥

Four years, countless memories, and a lifetime’s worth of lessons. Thank you, @alx_girls_soccer , for being more than just a team—for being my family through it all. Even when I spent two years on the sidelines with back-to-back surgeries, you never let me feel like I was alone. To my teammates—thank you for the laughter, the support, and the strength you gave me when I needed it most.

This journey hasn’t been easy—blood, sweat, tears, bruises, torn ligaments, and moments where I questioned if I could keep going. But I never stopped trusting God’s plan, even when I couldn’t see where it was leading. Now, I’m stepping into the next chapter with @gmcwsoccer, carrying everything I’ve learned and everyone who’s stood beside me.

Goodbye to the past that shaped me. Hello to the future that’s waiting. ❤️⚽ #gobulldogs🐾 #seniorseason
