Hennything vs Phantom Troupe | Week 1 Sunday

We see a familar face back for Season 3, Glodi Kashala, your Player of the Game. @gmk.ca is looking to become the first player in 4TN history to achieve 3 championships in two seasons as he also plays for Fourteen Ounce on Thursdays. Phantom Troupe is a deep squad with the best connection on paper in the Sunday division. Let's see how they match up against the other top teams deep in the season.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE LEAGUE 🏆 — STAGE DIVISION SEASON 2

The Snow Bunnies went 6-1 in the regular season. They reached the Stage Division Finals. They pushed every team they faced to their absolute limit.

None of that happens without Glodi Kashala.

1.14 steals per game. Top 5 in the league.
8 total steals. Top 5 in the league.
1.42 blocks per game. First in the league.
10 total blocks. First in the league.

All 7 regular season games. Every single one. A defensive stat in every appearance. That's not a coincidence. That's a player who shows up to work every week and takes pride in making the other team's night as miserable as possible. What makes Glodi truly elite is something that doesn't fully show up on the stat sheet. He guards 1 through 5. Point guards, wings, bigs, it doesn't matter. Whoever the opposing team's best offensive threat is, Glodi takes the assignment and locks them down. Night in, night out, without hesitation. The Snow Bunnies could trust him on any matchup in any situation and that kind of versatility is almost impossible to find.

While Yassir Ahmed was running the offence, while Ethan Stojanov was dropping double-doubles, while Atsa Ortabaev was dunking out the gym, Glodi Kashala was quietly making sure none of it could be taken away on the other end. The defensive anchor of the most complete team in the Stage Division. Every undefeated stretch. Every comfortable win. Every stop when it mattered. Glodi was at the centre of it.

You watch the games. You understand.
