POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Last week, I hosted my first masterclass back home in Windhoek. ❤️🇳🇦

I’m passionate about our Namibian artists. There is so much talent in our country, yet so little of the support and infrastructure needed to nurture it. Our music industry has been in need of reform for a long time, and opportunities for meaningful artist development remain limited.

We tend to look to the industry for direction, waiting for it to provide the opportunities and support we need. But given the realities we face as a population of 3.2 million , I believe we also have to learn to take matters into our own hands.

That was the intention behind Beyond Talent. I don’t have all the answers, but I have my own experiences, lessons and perspectives to share. If those can help another artist navigate their journey with a little more clarity and confidence, then it’s a start.

We had a great turnout, and I hope this is the beginning of something that contributes to building a stronger foundation for our artists. Thank you to everyone at NASCAM for supporting me in bringing this project to life, and to every participant who registered, showed up and contributed to the day. 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

Yesterday, Miss Charm Namibia 2026 visited the Namibia Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) for an interview, sharing her journey from Miss Namibia finalist to earning the opportunity to represent Namibia on the international stage in Vietnam. 🇻🇳👑

During the interview, she reflected on her pageant journey, the advocacy she hopes to champion, her preparations for Miss Charm, and the responsibility of showcasing Namibia’s rich culture, tourism, people and identity to the world.

From overcoming challenges to pursuing a greater purpose, her journey is a testament to ambition, resilience and the power of representation.

As she prepares to take the Namibian flag to Vietnam, one thing remains clear: she carries not only a title, but also the hopes, pride and spirit of a nation. ❤️💛💚

Meet the Author 📖

From a village girl who once walked long distances to school and struggled to afford life’s basic necessities to a successful corporate professional, mother, mentor and author, Monika Tangeni-Omua Emvula Shaduka’s journey is one of resilience, faith and transformation.

Her newly launched book, A Village Girl with a Mighty God, chronicles the difficult seasons, personal battles, career milestones and spiritual growth that shaped her life, while offering hope to anyone navigating their own season of uncertainty.

Her story is a reminder that where you start does not determine where you will end.

A teacher gives one lesson to 35 learners. Each of them walks out with a different version of it.

One missed step one. One lost the thread at step three. One is carrying a gap from last term. None of it is the teacher's fault. It is what happens when one person teaches a group.

Fixing a gap means finding it, correcting it, and checking it is gone. For one learner, doable. For 35, several times a week, on top of marking, the hours are not there. So the class moves on, and the gap moves with the learner.

Families who can afford a private tutor buy that fix after school. Most Namibian families cannot.

Our Co-Founder & CEO, Vitalis P. Haupindi, explained all of this on Good Morning Namibia this morning, ahead of the handover of two AI tutoring labs in Lüderitz.

In the lab, learners practise, get marked and corrected on the spot, and try again. The teacher sees where each one is stuck, with no extra marking.

The Lüderitz labs were built with BW Kudu, a BW Energy company, and Namport @namibianportsauthority).

Handover: Monday, 21 September 2026.

❤️‍🩹 Physiotherapy & Heart Health

One of our NSP Executive Committee members, Akinbiyi Odunlade, joined NBC on the Good Morning Namibia segment to discuss the important role physiotherapy plays in heart health and cardiovascular rehabilitation.

The conversation highlighted how physiotherapists support individuals through safe movement, exercise, recovery and rehabilitation — helping people improve their physical function and overall quality of life. 🫀💪🏽

We’re proud to continue raising awareness about the important role of physiotherapy in cardiovascular health, especially as we celebrate World Physiotherapy Day 2026.

People ask me why I’m putting my heart on the line for someone who walked away.

It’s simple. Mendy wasn't just a passing phase. She was the one who made the noise of the world finally go quiet. When we talked, everything clicked. When she smiled, it felt like a win. You don’t just switch that off because the phone stopped ringing.

The hardest part about being ghosted by someone like Mendy isn't just that they left. It’s that they took the reasons with them. This song isn't about begging for her back—it’s about answering the question I'm left asking every single day: Why?"
