Ob es Sinn macht oder nicht, ich mache Kunst. Auch wenn sie sehr vergänglich ist.

Kann mit zur Eröffnung der Ausstellung im @cafe_bauturm, am Donnerstag um 19 Uhr. Ich mache was neues speziell für diesen Show. Ist es anlockend genug? Sonst flüstere ich euch was ins Ohr.

Juhuuu! @freiraumkollektivkoeln × @gmorkl collaboration — limited edition wearable artpiece is out now!

We will sell t-shirts during the demonstration "Freiräume schützen!" on Saturday the 8.2.2025 from 3 till 7 p.m.
The beginning is on the Hans Böckler Platz S-Bahn Köln West, from 5 p.m. in the park in front of BüZe.

Speeches, music, performances, artpieces — the demonstration will be a great cultural event of this winter. Join us, bring friends with you — together we are LOUDER!

If you are in love with a print — buy it right now. It's a limited edition drop! Each t-shirt is from Fairtrade organic cotton, handprinted in the @kolbhalleartistcommunity — absolut unique as there is no single print that is identical to another one.

You can pay for a piece of wearable art 35-70 € — the half of the profit will go to the @freiraumkollektivkoeln and will support the promotion on the independent cultural spaces in Köln, the other half will support the artist in creation of new art 🥰

To buy a t-shirt already now write Mascha, the artist, who created the symbol of the freiraumköln.de — @gmorkl 🥳🌞♥️

Oktopus aus Schwarzhofen • 40 €

Two days ago it was just a random background, now it's an octopus from Schwarzhofen. What a twist of fate! Actually I wasn't really expecting I'd do so much new stuff two days before the exhibition opening!

What's your recipe for avoiding banality?

I prefer hardcore learning. Not because I like it, but due to my extreme compassion and patience. It's not enough for me to make a small mistake and learn from it. Sometimes, I make similar mistakes so many times that I stumble upon one that is very painful. This pain stops other processes and forces me into concentrating my thoughts around it.

The good part about this is that I take my time for an intensive confrontation with a cloud of feelings and, through self-reflection and deep talks with friends and family, step into a new phase of personal development.

Right now, I'm in one of these intensive phases and feel a need for an exchange.

And how are you feeling right now?

A year ago I had my last day as a lecturer in graphic design basics at the b.i.b. International College in Bergisch Gladbach. Since then I've been officially a freelancer.

It's not the first time I've had this status, but it's the first time I've survived on my own for so long, doing some graphic and web design projects, photographing people, making collages and starting to develop my blog here.

It was a very intense year. Perhaps the hardest part was starting to speak on camera. I'd always wanted to share my creations, but it never seemed effective enough. I wondered why. Only this year did I realise that I and my work are inextricably linked, and that without my personal introduction, my creations are only half as interesting to others. So here I am, showing some of my work on a regular basis.

If you've read this far, I'm flattered and will take this opportunity to throw the information out there: I'm currently looking for projects and collaborations, so if you have something in mind — drop me a line!
