My next DEADLY guest needs no real introduction, we all fell in love with her cheekiness and smarts on Season 9 of Survivor. Kirby Bentley @kirbybentley is a proud Noongar woman. A lifelong lover of sports, playing netball for Western Australia before switching fields to AFL, before becoming an AFLW coach. It’s this professional sporting background, along with the gifts of her family and culture, that believes gave her the skills and the confidence to take on anything, even Survivor! We delve deep into all things behind the scenes Survivor, her strategy, how she used the connection skills passed down from her ancestors to form bonds to those infamous tribal councils. We also yarn about her loving frenemy with fellow contestant Feras Basal, and how their rivalry turned to an alliance to ultimately her eviction. Kirby also yarns about the incredible work she’s doing with her business Gnalla, @gn.alla an inclusive first nations brand that encourages people to have the important conversations - even when no one is looking. Whether you’re a self proclaimed survivor fanatic like me, or you’ve never seen an episode, you won’t want to miss out on this listen! 🖤 You can listen on Apple or Spotify, of where you get your podcasts. Please subscribe, rate and review so we can continue to elevate Blak people, voice, stories and causes. #survivor #australia #aboriginal #love #female #warrior #fyp #instagood #yarningup #podcast #inspiration #blak #tiddas #connect #learn #grow

🌿🖼️ Enhancing Our Clinic Environment with Thoughtful Art We are thrilled to introduce two new vibrant additions to the @central_mallee_health clinic art collection, created by the talented @kirbybentley of @gn.alla . These pieces join our beloved artworks from the past two years, continuing to inspire and enrich our space. 🖼️ Island Life - Captures the intricate dynamics of survival within human interactions, mirroring the themes of resilience and the richness of human connections. Its vibrant and earthy tones enhance the contemplative atmosphere of our clinic, fostering meaningful discussions on personal growth. 🖼️ Through Adversity - This poignant piece features a lone wolf traversing the challenges of life, symbolising the protector and companion roles we all embody. Its earth-toned palette and themes of overcoming adversity resonate deeply, encouraging reflection on strength and perseverance amidst life’s trials. Both artworks not only beautify our clinic but act as catalysts for meaningful conversations, bridging cultural narratives and deepening our understanding of resilience. They underscore our dedication to creating a supportive environment that nurtures comprehensive health care. Thanks Kirbs. 🖤💛❤️ 🔗 Learn more about how Gnalla promotes dialogue through art: https://www.gnalla.com #HealthcareArt #KirbyBentley #Gnalla #Survivor #MedicalArt #Resilience #ClinicDesign
