Audemars Piguet’s home in Le Brassus is a juxtaposition of contemporary architecture and old-world watchmaking finesse. A singular feeling runs through the whole valley: AP is ever present, and has been since 1875.

So here you have it. Two days in the Vallée de Joux and 653 shots, distilled into two posts.

Part one: the infrastructure. No watches, but trust me, the architecture alone is worth it.

Part two: the watches. A selection of the wildest and finest I saw.

Truly a divine experience.

Day two in Paris was a reminder that High Jewellery is never just about precious materials—it’s about emotion, imagination and extraordinary craftsmanship.

The morning began at HoĢ‚tel d’Évreux with Mikimoto’s @official_mikimoto L’éclat. Exploring the poetry of light through pearls, the collection felt both technically masterful and effortlessly contemporary. Every jewel revealed another layer the longer you looked, balancing remarkable craftsmanship with a sense of lightness that seemed almost impossible to achieve. It was one of those rare presentations that everyone seemed to leave talking about. By the end of the day, almost every conversation led back to Mikimoto.

From there, I headed to Hotel Costes for Buccellati’s @buccellatimilan Serenissima. First unveiled in Venice, the collection pays tribute to the city’s artistic heritage through the maison’s signature engraving techniques and lace-like goldwork. Each jewel celebrates the beauty of the handmade, proving that the most refined creations don’t demand attention—they quietly command it.

An intimate preview of Lily Gabriella’s @lilygabriellafinejewellery latest creations at the Ritz was followed by private client appointments at Sicis, where luminous pearls met intricate micromosaics, bringing together two remarkable artistic traditions in a way that felt both timeless and refreshingly modern.

As evening fell, drinks at Chahan Gallery offered another opportunity to revisit VRAM’s @vramjewelry sculptural creations—jewels that reveal new details every time you wear them.

And somewhere between appointments, Paris offered its own masterpiece: a glimpse of the Eiffel Tower shimmering in the evening light, followed by dinner with wonderful company. Another unforgettable day immersed in exceptional craftsmanship, inspiring conversations and the privilege of witnessing the world’s finest jewellery during Haute Couture Week.

Paris never asks you to slow down. Somehow, it simply makes you look closer.
