A little serendipity found its way into the Dodā kitchen when we unexpectedly got our hands on some beautiful Madagascar vanilla beans.

Naturally, we had to experiment.
What followed was a wonderfully creamy dream, deeply aromatic and rich with real vanilla.

The batch is so small, we genuinely had second thoughts about sharing it.
But some pleasures deserve to be passed around.

Come try it as a French Vanilla Bean Affogato while it lasts.

And trust us, it won’t last long.

High in the hills, a little herd of Gaur's spent their days being wonderfully themselves.

One was curious and wandered everywhere.
One was shy and hid behind his fringe.
One believed every box belonged to him.

For Chef Alvinia D’Souza, a truffle may be small, but there is absolutely no room inside it for compromise.

That philosophy sits at the heart of the evolving Dodā Truffle an exploration of cacao, technique and exceptional ingredients. Chef has always believed that if we spend months nurturing cacao, carefully fermenting it and crafting our own chocolate, what we pair it with deserves exactly the same consideration.

Artisanal should never become an excuse for ordinary.

Take our whisky truffle. Instead of reaching for a generic spirit simply to lend it a whisky note, Chef works with a single malt. A beautiful whisky in its own right, it brings warmth, depth and character to the filling; something you taste rather than merely read on an ingredient list.

There’s a little bit of Chef Alvinia’s magic in every craggy, chocolate-covered bite. Our Dodā Almond Rocs bring together crunchy almonds and 65% dark craft chocolate, made from cacao grown at our own Happy Hermit Estate.

Her philosophy is wonderfully uncomplicated: start with exceptional cacao, choose ingredients for their quality rather than shortcuts, and let each one speak for itself.

Almonds bring naturally occurring protein, fibre and healthy fats, while cacao contributes its characteristic plant compounds and deep flavour.

Handcrafted in small batches, they’re deliberately rustic, deeply chocolatey and satisfyingly crunchy; proof that indulgence can be thoughtful too.

Long before cafés became meeting places, South Indian filter coffee found its way into homes through a remarkable journey.

Legend has it that in the 17th century, the Sufi saint Baba Budan returned from Yemen carrying seven coffee beans hidden in his robes, planting them in the hills of Chikkamagaluru.

From those humble beginnings grew one of India's most cherished coffee traditions; slowly brewed through a metal filter, lovingly blended with milk, and served in the iconic dabara-tumbler that has become a symbol of warmth and hospitality across generations.
