This past Saturday we hosted the 18th Annual Go Big for Pedal Over Parkinson’s Run! 🏃🏻🚲Our students spent the last few months planning, getting sponsors and silent auction baskets, and more. @nauexercisescience assisted with running the event, thank for your help manning the silent auction tables and re-fueling stations along the course! It was a huge success with nearly 150 runners, 20 pups, and the first @unity.dance.team performance of the semester! 💃🏻🕺🏼
Lastly, a huge thank you to our sponsors: The Arizona Diamondbacks, Run Flagstaff, Carter Rehab, Flagstaff Climbing, Seamless Flooring, Nicely Done Consulting, Physio Shop Flagstaff, Findlay Toyota, Purina, Sole Sports, and Arby’s! This event would not be possible without their support. 🫶🤩
Remember to PWR UP and GO BIG!🥳

Last Friday, 4/19, the Flagstaff class of 2024 shared their capstone projects at Cline Library. The projects explored many areas of physical therapy and were either service or research-based. We are so proud of all the hard work our students put into their capstones and look forward to seeing all that they accomplish in the future! 🤩📚⚽️🚣🏻‍♂️💪

📓October ‘23 in no particular order!

It involved (a little) less going out 😉 and a lot more road workouts at 5:15 per mile pace or faster! 👟 Next up is a half marathon tuneup at the @phoenix_10k followed by the big dance (@runcim262) on 12/3! 💪

Running and walking for a cause! NAU’s Go Big for Parkinson’s race was a day filled with heartwarming moments and fun galore! We had free massages, adorable puppies, energetic dancers, and exciting games. But the best part? We raised funds to make a real difference in the lives of people with Parkinson’s!

Kudos to the amazing team behind this event. A big shoutout to our generous sponsors and donors - your support means the world!
