POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
A VERY EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT! Having been obsessed with the idea of mail clubs - which are popular in the US and growing in the UK - I’m launching my own mail club set in a fantasy world, that combines original storytelling with beautiful illustrations, maps, collectible affirmation cards and stickers. (It’s a monthly subscription that you get in the post).

In a world where more and more of us are seeking ways to be offline, and crave things not created by AI, this is something you can feel, touch, look forward to that doesn’t involve a screen. (And you shouldn’t have to wait till your birthday or someone’s wedding to get gorgeous stationery in the post).

My mail club is set in a comic-fantasy, whimsical semi-medieval world where the main character is a goblin named Emerald. Why goblins? Because I believe a) they get bad press and b) each of us have a goblin self that maybe we could learn to love and unleash a bit more.

The story: Emerald has finally managed to convince her parents to let her leave the sleepy goblinshire of Rumble for the big shiny faerie city, Goldentown. It is home to many different creatures from ‘high faeries’ aka snobby elves to the ‘lower faeries’ aka everyone else - goblins, trolls, wraiths, gnomes, vampires, nymphs and more. But is everything as shiny as it seems? Emerald is about to find out, as she embarks on a journey to make friends, find love and change people’s hearts and minds about who they believe goblins to be. (Especially the milk-stealing accusations - she’s lactose intolerant, for crying out loud!)

Every month, Emerald will write you a letter telling you a story that opens up the world of Goldentown.

My incredible illustrator @goblin_ems will help bring the world to life. Emilia is a small, UK based illustrator who loves all things medieval and whimsical - especially kindness, critters, folklore, and a seething hatred for AI.

While it is aimed at adults, the content is also appropriate for teenagers.

THE IMPORTANT BIT: the club launches in September but the waitlist is open now (link in bio) and there are limited spaces. There is international shipping but currently no shipping to the EU. #mailclub
