Butcher: More meat for the pot! I always loved the old Ogres when the Ogre Kingdoms first came out, but the new miniatures are simply on another level. Dynamic, brutal, and packed with details... plus an absolutely massive canvas to experiment with skin, leather, and the base! So much room to go wild! For the skin, I started with a pinkish base tone, added highlights, and then used a few washes to give it more depth. One particularly important detail, of course, was painting the veins with Drakenhof Nightshade using a very fine brush! Next came the first layer of PVA glue. Once it had dried, I gently brushed on some white oil paint before adding another layer of PVA. I repeated this process a few times until I was happy with the result. Huge shoutout to Pictor for the PVA technique! For the base, I used collected stones, roots, plenty of cork, and texture paste to create something that matched my vision. I wanted a rough, almost Stone Age feel to it, and I’m really happy with the colours as well. A few extra bones provided the final finishing touch! And let’s not forget! #dirtydownrust from @goblinshut played a huge role in creating the corrosion effects on all those butcher’s hooks, chains, and, of course, the cleaver itself! . . . . . #ogormawtribes #ogrekingdoms #grimdarkcommunity #warhammerageofsigmar

What if the Adepta Sororitas went from 'solemn sisters' to 'hermanas con sabor'? A little less 'covent" and a little more 'caliente'? Well, the latest offering from Heroes Infinite pictures just that, straight out of a Robert Rodriguez film. It was a great model to paint, giving me much needed practice is blending, skin tones, and painting smaller sized minis, looking forward to doing more ASAP! Queen of Pentacles - Gamigin. This card drawn reversed represents greed, materialism and envy. Instead of sitting on a floral throne, mine is standing over a desolate landscape. Sunday livestream The Evil Ted channel 9AM pst. The Predator pattern is cut out. Next step is to trace it on to posters board. Going to use 6mm @cosplaypros foam to make the prototype. I find once I build the first one I can see what needs to be altered to make it work. It usually takes 2 to 3 builds to get it right. But I have a pretty good feeling we might be able to pull this off the first time. @surebonder @tamiyausa @frogtape @createxcolors @creaturecastrubber @starbondadhesives @goblinshut @gameconcanada @themodifier7 @johnallensoares @rustoleum

NYCC! The dads were hard at work for another New York comic con booth build. Dr Doom’s laboratory was a success and we couldn’t have done it without the wisdom and guidance of our helping hands. From completely different airports trying to link up, to late night coffee runs and finding time to grab a bite, it was one for the books. Big thank you to @heroesvillainsbrand & @marvel for helping us bring the vision from concept to creation and all the meetings, ideas and madness along the way. Much appreciated! And a special thanks to @goblinshut for the Dirty Down weathering products to get Doom’s lab looking extra worn in. #marvel #heroesvillainsbrand #doctordoom #avengersdoomsday #dadbatchpod
