• Come educate and empower yourself this Saturday and have a great time doing it with KRST and our double movie screenings at 1 PM and 5 PM! At 1 PM we’re screening this excellent documentary about W. E. B. DuBois. This man put in a lifetime of prolific work on behalf of his people and freedom against white supremacy and colonization in this country. It is mind blowing 🤯🤯 how much varied, sustained, revolutionary work this one man put in.
The very least we can do is understand where we stand, where you stand, in relationship to that work and its continuance today. • From @krstunitycenter

Long ago, a mortal girl from a local nomadic tribe wandering the woods happened upon the hidden canyon and caught sight of a beautiful water fairy living in the rushing stream.
The girl fell deeply in love with the fairy. Knowing that a romantic union between a mortal and a magical spirit was strictly forbidden and impossible, she spent days sitting at the edge of the canyon crying heavily.
Her endless tears eventually mixed with the rushing waters. This is the reason why Kurşunlu’s cascading water has a unique, ethereal visual quality—appearing simultaneously crystal-clear yet covered in a permanent smoky, grayish mist.
Locals traditionally whisper that the waters hold the ability to cleanse the human heart and spirit.
And if you whisper a personal secret or a deep wish into it, and cast it into the emerald ponds beneath the falls. The hidden spirits of the canyon will hear the whisper and grant the wish.

Beyond the sun-baked stone and broken pillars of Perge lies an ancient landscape woven from moonlight, earth magic, and the whispers of a forgotten Queen.
Perge belonged to a primal, cosmic force. While the Western world reimagined Artemis as a swift huntress, the people of Perge knew her as Artemis Pergaia—a sovereign of the celestial and subterranean realms.
Ancient coins reveal her cloaked in the cosmos, wearing a crown of blinding solar rays with a crescent moon cradled behind her shoulders like a silver cradle.
She was not originally carved in human form. Her earliest, most sacred idol was a baitylos—a mystical, conical meteorite fallen from the heavens, believed to hold the literal, vibrating heartbeat of the cosmos.
She held dominion over the veil between worlds, governing the wild fertility of the earth, the cycles of the moon, and the spirits of the underworld.
Rituals in the Shadows
To walk the colonnaded streets of Perge at night was to step into a realm of ecstatic magic. Her cult did not rely solely on rigid, indoor prayer; they communed with the wild.
Under the full moon, priestesses led the city into the surrounding forests. The night air filled with the hypnotic clash of cymbals, rhythmic drumming, and trance-inducing dances meant to awaken the sleeping spirits of nature.
Perge itself was built like an altar to this divine feminine energy. In a world dominated by kings and emperors, Perge bowed to its high priestesses

The ancient city of Myra, where the veil between life and death wears thin, and the energy of ancient deities still thrums beneath the soil.
The very word Myra heavily believed to be derived from the Myrrh tree which is a potent resin of protection, healing, and honoring the dead. The entire valley was once a fertile basin of sacred aromas and potent earth medicine.
If you are looking for a massive stone temple dedicated to the Divine Feminine today, you will find only a ghost. At its peak, Myra housed the spectacular temple of Artemis Eleuthera however, a massive spiritual clash occurred here in the 4th century. Bishop Nicholas—the historical figure who inspired Santa Claus—ordered the complete destruction of the temple to stamp out the old ways. But a goddess never truly leaves. Visiting the site today often tap into the lingering, wild feminine energy of Artemis that refuse to be buried by patriarchal history.
Myra’s most breathtaking feature is its ocean of rock-cut tombs. Carved directly into vertical cliffsides, these, stone-carved village for spirits.
The ancient Lycians intentionally built these tombs high into the mountains because they believed that a bird-like creature or spirit guide would carry the souls of the deceased into the afterlife, and being closer to the sky aided the transition.

The Azmak River in Akyaka, Turkiye, is a real-world natural aquarium that carries a deeply enchanting, almost otherworldly energy. Known locally as Azmak Nehri (meaning “running wild” in Turkish), it flows straight from the base of the Sakar Mountain before spilling out into the Gulf of Gökova.
If you look at this destination through a mystical, lens, the river presents itself as a potent sanctuary of elemental power, cleansing energy, and natural magic.
The water here acts like a giant, liquid scrying mirror. It is remarkably transparent, letting you peer deep down to watch thick emerald river weeds twist like green flames while trout and eels glide between them.
Submerging your feet or taking a quick plunge feels like an instant spiritual reset, shocking away heavy or stagnant energy.
The water is unique because it is partially composed of natural alkaline soda spring water. This makes the texture feel exceptionally crisp, buoyant, and deeply purifying to the skin.
The riverbanks are heavily guarded by ancient, tangled reed beds and tall trees that create a secluded, labyrinthine atmosphere

The largest and only known monumental temple complex in the ancient world dedicated exclusively to Hecate.
Before expanding into Greek and Roman mythology, Hecate originated as a sovereign Great Goddess in Anatolia, specifically within the pre-Greek culture of Caria. While the Western world recognizes her primarily as a shadowy figure of witchcraft and ghosts, her original Anatolian roots paint a vastly different portrait of a supreme, life-giving civic deity. 🗝️

According to ancient lore, a fierce coven of Amazon warrior-women planted the very first roots of this sanctuary. They erected a raw, sacred wooden idol xoanon beneath the
sprawling branches of a mystical oak tree.
To charge the ground with protective wards, these Amazon warriors did not kneel in silent prayer. Instead, they performed a rhythmic, clashing shield-dance around the tree, beating out a primal pulse to summon their matron goddess.
The Amazons ran Ephesus less like a political state and more like an occult, cooperative hive. In fact, the ancient city was affectionately known as “The City of the Honey-bee,” directly reflecting the Amazonian structure
The goddess reigned supreme at the absolute center of their devotions
The citizens operated as a unified, single-gendered collective of daughters And coins didn’t feature crowns or kings; they were stamped with the divine sigils of the goddess on one side and a honey-bee on the other 🐝

The Temple of Athena Polias in Priene is a masterclass in ancient sacred geometry, acting as a powerful conduit of divine logic, cosmic alignment, and sovereign goddess energy. Perched like a stone crown on a dramatic cliffside beneath Mount Mycale, this sanctuary was deliberately built where the raw, wild forces of nature collide with absolute mathematical perfection.
This temple represents the physical manifestation of the element of Air and Intellect casting a web of unshakeable order over the chaos of the physical plane.
Stone here carries a specific energetic vibration, structured to control how human energy interacts with the divine.
Priene remains an incredibly quiet, liminal space. It is an ideal astral or physical destination for workings involving clarity, strategy, cutting through illusion, and stepping into your own sovereign power

In antiquity, Ephesus was known across the Mediterranean as a capital for magic, mystery, and ancient wonders long before it became a famous Roman city.
The city was so famous for magic that it created one of the world’s first popular magic formulas: the Ephesia Grammata.
These were six secret, magical words
Aski, Kataski, Lix, Tetrax, Damnameneus, Aision.
People believed saying or writing these words would bring good luck and keep bad energy away.
Travelers wore these words carved into good-luck charms, and the city’s giant statue of Artemis even had them carved onto her crown and belt. Selling magical cookbooks, potion recipes, and spell scrolls was a huge, legal business in the city market.
This came to a sudden end about 2,000 years ago. Many locals decided to change their ways and threw all their expensive magic books into a giant bonfire in the middle of town. History books record that the burned scrolls were worth 50,000 silver coins which would be worth millions of dollars today.

Ephesus was the heart of the cult of Artemis, the goddess of the wilderness, childbirth, and the moon.
The site functions as a geographical node where ancient goddess worship naturally transitioned into the veneration of Mary.

And Mother Mary here not just as a biblical figure, but as the ultimate Gaia/Mother archetype
Right below the house, natural mountain springs flow into three distinct taps which align perfectly with the Triple Goddess archetype (Maiden, Mother, Crone)
Which holds immense elemental power.

Drinking or washing your hands in the waters you will absorb its protective, healing, and manifesting energies.

Outside the chapel stands a large stone wall covered in thousands of knotted papers, tissues, and cloths. This is a massive, collective act of knot magic.
Tying a piece of cloth or paper to the wall physically “binds” a wish to a sacred space.
The sheer volume of human intention concentrated on this wall creates a powerful egregore.
Leaving the paper behind signifies trusting the universe or the Divine Mother to manifest the desire.

To step into the true, primal current of the Ephesian Artemis, you must strip away her identity as a Greek goddess entirely. In the shadows of ancient İzmir, she was worshipped as Upis a dark, pre-Hellenic primordial grandmother, a spider-like weaver of fates, and the sovereign queen of the cosmic hive.
She did not rule from a golden throne; she ruled from the black mud of the marshlands. She was the mistress of the threshold between the unborn, the living, and the dead.
The choice to build her temple in a wet, treacherous swamp was a profound act.
Neither solid earth nor open water. It is where life continuously rots down to feed new creation.
The layers of charcoal and raw sheepskins buried beneath her massive pillars were not just engineering; they were an occult filter. The charcoal absorbed the negative, chaotic trauma of the earth, while the wool symbolized the sacrificial mantle of the Great Mother.
The temple literally floated on a giant, subterranean talisman of preservation.
During the dark of the moon, the sisterhood gathered in the deep, windowless inner sanctum around the black wooden effigy. They began a low, rhythmic, guttural humming—mimicking the vibration of a nesting swarm. This vocal drone induced deep, trance-like states in anyone who entered the chamber.
The priestesses used localized bee-venom therapy and wild, psychoactive honey harvested from toxic mountain laurels (mad honey) to thin the physical blood and project their consciousness into the astral plane.
