El Buen Sabor 🇵🇪 It’s a bit of a drive, but you’ll be rewarded with the real taste of Peru. We were in Middelburg and had such a wonderful time enjoying lunch, cocktails, dinner (not on one day 😀) and the hospitality of Susana and Jeroen at @elbuensabor.middelburg.

Anyone who knows me knows I’m more than happy to travel for gezelligheid and anticuchos (marinated grilled beef heart on skewers) 😋 The delicious ceviche carretillero (my fave ceviche), salsas, pollo a la brasa, green rice with duck, and those lovely pisco and maracuyá sours were all a great bonus 😉

And then, to round off our last evening, we had the best classic tres leches for dessert, made by their daughter @brigithe_rios. There may even have been a little afterparty in the bar.. After five hours, we headed home completely satisfied, happy belly and full of positive vibes, the perfect ending of lovely days in a charming city 💚

If you’re ever in Middelburg, do yourself a favour and give El Buen Sabor a try, it’s well worth the trip! 🇵🇪 Happy day! 💚

Yeahhh baby...25 years. LET LOVE RULE!!! 💞

A quarter of a century ago, a sexy DJ in a black suit was spinning soulful Latin vinyl at Amsterdam's first DJ café (iykyk). He had that je ne sais quoi unconventional attitude that immediately caught my attention. We flirted, danced, laughed, and drove each other crazy. Two carefree young souls who fell in love.

What a ride it has been. Filled with love, happiness, adventure, discovery, inspiration, difficult times, unwavering support, and, of course, lots of food and music.

Here's to all the memories we've made and all the ones still to come ❤️
