I have some VERY EXCITING news! 🥹🎉 The He’s Still Good reading plan is officially available on the @youversion Bible app!

If you would have told me at 20 that by 30, I’d be following Jesus, have a book in the world, AND have a reading plan on the Bible app, I would have told you that you were crazy! But that’s how God works. He takes our weakest moments and hardest seasons and uses them for good.

That’s what this book and reading plan are all about—He’s still good, even when life doesn’t feel like it.

For me, He revealed His goodness through relational hurt and rejection. For you, it might look different. But regardless of our ever changing circumstances, He remains steady, safe, secure, and GOOD.

I hope this plan reminds you of that truth and encourages you to keep trusting Him, even when you have found yourself in a season that looks different than you thought it would.🤎

I’m still processing this one. 🥹

me and @holamoriah spent a few days learning from @joniearecksontada of @joniandfriends , and whew… there is something sacred about sitting with someone who has lived with constant pain and STILL deeply loves Jesus.

Not the cute, polished kind of faith.

The kind of faith that has wrestled.
The kind that has cried.
The kind that has asked hard questions.
And somehow still says, “Jesus, I trust You here too.”

Joni reminded us that suffering and faith are not opposites.

You can be hurting and holy.
You can be disappointed and devoted.
You can carry pain AND still carry hope.

That is moxie.

And that is exactly what we’re diving into in Season 2 of Unshakable Moxie, produced by @ourdailybread and the incredible @godhearsher team — who also happen to be sponsors and sweet supporters of the @stillcoloringpod 🥹🖍️🖤

This FREE Bible study series is for anybody trying to figure out how to hold the hard parts of life with Jesus instead of pretending they don’t hurt.

And yalllllll… we are too grown to pretend.

Comment “MOXIE” and I’ll send you the link to watch the entire series for FREE.

And send this to somebody who needs the reminder that pain can be present without hope having to leave.

Divorce can end the relationship.

But that does NOT mean the pain ends with it.

Sometimes you leave and still have to figure out how to breathe again.

How to trust yourself again.

How to tell the truth about what happened without becoming bitter.

How to date again without dragging betrayal into every new connection.

How to grieve what was real while still admitting what was unhealthy.

And how to believe that there is actually freedom on the other side.

This conversation with @myeshachaney on the @stillcoloringpod got me DEEP.

She said something I cannot stop thinking about:

“When you obsess about tomorrow, you suffer twice.”

And then she hit me AGAIN with:

“Anything harmful loves speed.”

Yalllll know I can’t control my facial expression ahah😭

We talked about divorce, losing community, rebuilding your faith, telling the truth, parenting through the aftermath, dating after betrayal, and what it looks like to stop surviving your life and actually start living it again.

If you’ve been divorced…

If you’ve walked through a breakup that completely broke your heart…

If you’ve lost people, places, community, identity, or even pieces of your faith along the way…

PLEASE go watch this entire conversation on YouTube.

And don’t just watch it for yourself.

Send this reel to the woman in your life who keeps saying she’s “fine” but is desperately trying to figure out who she is on the other side of what happened.

Myesha also shares more of her story in her memoir ‘Honest’. You can grab the book through the link in the show notes.

And a huge thank you to our podcast sponsor @ourdailybread x @godhearsher 🤍

If you are learning how to get back up after life knocks the wind out of you, go watch my brand-new Bible study series Unshakable Moxie. It’s a series about resilience, faith, and women who have walked through hard things and still refused to quit.

Both seasons are available to watch for FREE.

Comment “FREEDOM” if you are choosing to believe there is more life on the other side of what hurt you.

And share this with somebody who needs that reminder today.

What if you obey God… and life still gets harder?

WHEW. 😭 This conversation with @iambrendapalmer on the Still Coloring Podcast got REAL real.

We talked about church hurt. Betrayal. Starting over. Weariness. Surrender. And the uncomfortable truth that sometimes you can pray, obey, do the “right” thing… and still end up walking through a season you never asked for.

Brenda dropped this and I have not recovered:

“Obedience isn’t about what you get on the other side of it. It’s about the God you meet through it.”

That’ll preach.

Sometimes we spend so much time asking God to change the outcome that we miss how deeply He is changing us in the process.

And maybe surrender isn’t, “God, here’s my life… now what are You going to do for me?”

Maybe surrender is:

“God, You’ve already done enough. So here’s my yes.”

If you are rebuilding after disappointment, betrayal, church hurt, heartbreak, or a season that just did NOT turn out the way you prayed it would… please go watch this episode.

ANDDDD go grab Brenda’s book The Journey of Yes: The Everyday Adventure of Radical Obedience because it is the PERFECT companion to this conversation. It’s all about what it actually looks like to follow God into the unknown and keep saying yes.

And a huge thank you to our podcast sponsor @ourdailybread @godhearsher for helping us keep these conversations going. 🤍

If you need some extra moxie for the season you’re in, go watch my new Bible study series Unshakeable Moxie with Our Daily Bread. We traveled the country sitting with women who have walked through pain and STILL refused to quit—and both seasons are available to watch for FREE.

Comment “YES” if you’re choosing surrender over control in this season. 👇🏾

And SEND this reel to the friend who keeps saying, “God, I did everything right…why is this still so hard?”
