Monthly R&B Favorites (March) / Cover: @godsentjaystarr March was packed with underground R&B gems—another reminder of where the genre is heading. This is the future of R&B. @6lack made his return with Bird Flu, a super chill blend of R&B and rap, while @godsentjaystarr followed up his latest hit with SOMEBODY, which I’ve had on repeat ever since. @isaiahkaleo and @ciaovesta teamed up for the fire touch me, tease me, and @jahsonpaynter delivered the beautiful alternative R&B track draggin’ my feet!. @tennthernbkid kept his run going with Roleplay, another dark R&B banger, and @finnaskew came through with Distance, one of the standout cuts of the month. But that’s not all—so I’ve curated my 30 favorite R&B releases from March just for you. The full list features some of the finest new R&B out right now, spanning dark R&B, alternative R&B, contemporary R&B, and more. You can find everything in the “why R&B matters” playlists.
