The finding chest

Still processing an incredible weekend. Grateful for good friends, time on the water, and the kind of memories that only come from years of fishing together. Fishing has a way of keeping us going, but it’s the people you share it with that make it mean something. The amount of stories I have with these guys is priceless, and I wouldn’t trade them for anything.

Another @borrachopescador in the books. Great fishing, a great cause, and even better getting to do it all with some of my best friends. This weekend never disappoints. Already counting down to next year.

Got the drone up Sunday after the tournament and saw the marsh from a whole new perspective.

A bittersweet opening day.

My first without my dad. I’ll never forget telling him we were moving out to a little farm with a pond. The first words out of his mouth were, “Yes, we can dove hunt.”

This year was my son’s first true opening day, right here on our own property. A day I’ll always remember, but one that was hard without Dad here to share it with us.

Three generations should’ve been in that field today. Sure wish you were here, Dad.

🌅Scouting days are some of my favorite days on the water as you never know what the day might hold. We’ll always have a target species in mind but if they’re not cooperating we strive to find the fish that are happy, that’s what being a fisherman is all about! @codybenton_flyfishing stayed persistent and feed this GIANT Black Buffalo🐋 Highlight of the day without a doubt🥳 Let’s go fishing 🎣
