Such an incredible sunset last night at Pinnacle Mountain summit. The forecast was showing cloudy all day and evening, and we lucked out with the clouds clearing. I met up with We AR Hikers, and we hiked the West Summit Trail. Even with the cooler temps we’ve had recently, it was still a struggle with the humidity which made it feel 15 degrees warmer. I got stung by a Yellowjacket that flew under my Chaco strap and got stuck. This was the first time I’ve ever been stung by anything. I’ve somehow managed to avoid this for 35 years. I guess next on the bucket list is a red wasp and bee.
