🥀 🇫🇮 𝑨𝑺 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑺𝑼𝑵 𝑭𝑨𝑳𝑳𝑺 : "𝑽𝒊𝒊𝒎𝒆𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒏 𝑨𝒂𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒌𝒐𝒊" (𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑭𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑫𝒂𝒘𝒏)
✧ 𝑺𝒊𝒈𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑼𝒑𝒅𝒂𝒕𝒆

Every dawn is a victory stolen from a dark that never stops hunting us.

In Northern folklore, the balance of the cosmos hangs by a thread on an eternal chase across the stars. A white celestial reindeer, the bearer of light and life, is relentlessly pursued by the Archer of the Dark. If the arrow ever finds its mark, the next dawn will never rise. Time will freeze, and everything will fade into absolute zero.

This freezing, cosmic dread is exactly what AS THE SUN FALLS capture in their new standalone single "Viimeinen Aamunkoi" (The Final Dawn). A dark ritual delivered entirely through the harsh edge of the Finnish language, dragging the listener into a world where darkness wins the battle. Gogo Melone’s haunting artwork perfectly visualizes this final descent.

The final dawn is fading.

𝑼𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒈𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅 𝑷𝒖𝒍𝒔𝒆: Listeners instantly connected with the song's freezing aura. Among devotees of extreme metal, the choice to embrace their native Finnish lyrics is highlighted as an authentic touch that deepens the track's emotional weight, framing it as the ultimate dark prelude to their upcoming European tour.

🥀 🇫🇮 𝑨𝑺 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑺𝑼𝑵 𝑭𝑨𝑳𝑳𝑺 : "𝑺𝒊𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑷𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒔" (𝒇𝒆𝒂𝒕. 𝑮𝒐𝒈𝒐 𝑴𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒆)
✧ 𝑺𝒊𝒈𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑼𝒑𝒅𝒂𝒕𝒆

Cross the thin veil into the quiet realms of the dead.

AS THE SUN FALLS open the gates to "Silent Waters", guided by the haunting presence and visceral vocals of Gogo Melone (AEONIAN SORROW ). The track stands as one of the most hypnotic passages from their May 2026 album "Songs From The Veil", released via Theogonia Records.

Moving between human grief and Finnish mythology, the music weaves the ancient imagery of Tuonela where silence, stagnant water, and the afterlife intertwine. The harsh male growls clash with Gogo Melone’s emotive voice and piercing screams, building a funeral march over dark waters. It creates a moment where the veil thins, and sorrow transforms into a haunting light.

Stark. Emotional. Northern.

𝑼𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒈𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅 𝑷𝒖𝒍𝒔𝒆: Melodeath circles and reviews pinpoint "Silent Waters" as one of the most haunting focal points of "Songs From The Veil". Listeners praise the organic alchemy between heavy melodic death foundations and a ritualistic, dark vocal shadow that lingers long after the final note.

Grief never asks for a seat, it becomes part of the room.
Time rearranges the furniture, but somehow, it always knows its way back.
Whatever seems difficult now and hard to keep loving without breaking, will one day find its way to bring you light and beauty again. You never really lost it...it just had to blur for a while.
