⋯ The stories behind the records she selects and the music she makes. Tokyo-based DJ and producer KATIMI AI weaves Afro and percussive sounds into house music, drawing on her Japanese and Nigerian roots. Her work spans a mix for Keinemusik, an appearance on ULTRA JAPAN 2026’s RESISTANCE stage, and beat-making with koto player Asuka as YY project K. This post features “Root Pulse,” her collaboration with Dazzle Drums, released on Berlin’s RISE MUSIC this May. Discover the music she makes before hearing the records she brings to the park. UNK?OWN is a dance floor open to the unfamiliar, where music, fashion, art and different perspectives meet. Join us at Yoyogi Park this autumn. ⋯ 🗓 EVENT HOURS 10/24 SAT｜16:00–20:00 10/25 SUN｜16:00–19:00 📍代々木公園イベント広場・陸橋の下 Yoyogi Park Event Plaza, beneath the pedestrian bridge アースガーデン“秋”内「MATAHARI LAND」 @earth_garden.jp @matahari.land FREE ENTRY｜入場無料 ALL AGES WELCOME｜お子さま連れも歓迎 LINEUP SAT KATIMI AI @dj_katimi_ai MASAKI KAWAMURA @masaki.daylog GOHLEM @gohlem SUN YAMARCHY @yamarchy CANDY BOYS @genki_ttttt @37yosuke_jp タイムテーブルは2枚目へ。 Swipe for the timetable and photos from a previous event at the venue. Save this post. 2026.10.11. In Our House, We Are All Equal. Thanks to everyone who has been part of the journey GENIUS has officially celebrated its 4th anniversary 🙏 Much love and thanks to everyone who came out all the DJs who played and everyone at OATH 🙏 YOSA & TAAR delivered an incredible 2.5-hour set!! And Gohlem and Amélie each brought their own amazing sounds to make our 4th anniversary even more special As we step into our 5th year I’d like to share the meaning behind the name GENIUS once again The word GENIUS has its roots in Latin In ancient Rome it referred to a guardian spirit unique to each person and the innate qualities they were born with Inspired by this idea I named the party GENIUS to celebrate the belief that everyone has their own unique talents and qualities DJs and dancers alike regardless of age, background or experience coming together to enjoy music while respecting each other’s individuality A place where all kinds of people gather on a Sunday listen to great music, dance, laugh and head into a new week feeling inspired That’s what I want GENIUS to be Love for HOUSE begins with respect In Our House, We Are All Equal. I’ll keep GENIUS going with love for the music and respect for everyone who is part of it Here’s to our 5th year‼︎ Much love ❤️ Chika Luna

Defected Croatia days 2 & 3 🇭🇷🌴🎶 Day 2 kicked off with @ukcopyringht x @lowsteppa boat- always a vibe, but with my OG Defected Copyright also playing, there was no way I was missing this!!☀️🚤❤️‍🔥 A lovely catch up with my USA friends before heading back into the music- @mele @gavinfacemills from @ukcopyringht little bit of mousse t and then Low Steppa at the beach stage 🪘🔥🎶 Then Barbarella’s one last time to see @samdivinedj until sunrise 🌅 Magical ✨ Day 3 started with one of the festival highlights- a beautiful wellbeing session with @ajoiaofficial - drums, ceremonial dance and pure connection🪘🥁✨ Being fully present and experiencing music and movement in such a different way at the festival was special ❤️ Then onto @savedrecords x @nicfanciulli boat- sadly missing the Dunmore Brothers, Andy Daniell, Sam Lowe and Nic absolutely smashed it. His mixing was something else as always 🔥 And finally!! The father, the daughter and the Holy Spirit otherwise known as @floorplan_music 🙏🏽 2 hours of trying to keep my pelvic floor engaged because there was absolutely NO leaving that dance floor which had officially turned holy, sprinkled with blessings 🙏🏽🪩✨ #defectedcroatia #defectedrecords #housemusicallnightlong
