Proverbs 18:16 - A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men. This week (actually, this whole year 🥹), I've lived this scripture in real life! On Tuesday, I attended the EMCA Awards, hosted by @hcmluxe & @chemxstudio! The EMCAs was specifically created to celebrate and honor people in the events industry who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make your event/wedding happen! The show was nothing short of PHENOMENAL! I already can't wait for next year's show! 🙌🏿 I walked into that room as a nominee and walked out a winner by the grace of God! Such an honor to receive this award! Shoutout to the other nominees! I'm so humbled that MGTS was mentioned among some of the greats in the content creation space! Thank you to my family, my friends, and my amazing clients for making 'Manney Got The Shot' what it is today! 🚀 For any creator who is fighting to find their place or purpose in the world, don't let fear or the spirit of perfectionism stop you from showing the world what the Lord has placed inside of you! Think Pink 2026 owes me nothing 😭❤️ I truly thank God for the privilege and opportunity to vend at the Think Pink Conference. Moments like this mean so much to me because I get to introduce people to my food for the very first time and see them genuinely enjoy not only the food, but the service and experience we provide. I’m beyond grateful for all the positive feedback, kind words, and amazing reviews we’ve received so far. Career Fair Recap 🎓✨ What started as a long-standing connection turned into a full-circle Kingdom moment. I’ve known Miriam @iammiriamsintim for years, but our paths crossed again when she came to my church, KFT @kingdomfulltabernacle . From there, I stayed connected checking in on her, encouraging her, helping her stay plugged into church, and simply doing life with her from a distance. Over time, that relationship grew stronger. Then one day, she called me. And honestly, I thought she needed prayer. But instead, she was calling to invite me to speak at her school’s career fair. From that conversation, she also asked if I could recommend other professionals who could pour into the students. Because of my experience working with @gold.oleka , I was able to recommend her knowing firsthand her excellence, versatility, and impact across multiple fields @goldieskitchen_ @olekacollection And through this journey of doing career fairs and stepping into what God has entrusted me with, He has also brought @manneyg into my life as a true blessing. Her presence, her work ethic, and her contribution have been instrumental in my growth through this entire experience. In fact, even during the event, I made sure to recommend that if they host future career fairs, they should absolutely invite @manneygottheshot because her story needs to be heard, especially in this generation of social media, content creation, and the digital/virtual space. This entire experience reminded me again: God doesn’t just give you assignments. He gives you people. People you grow with. People you serve with. People who sharpen you. And sometimes, what looks like a simple phone call is actually the fruit of years of faithfulness, connection, and obedience. Evangelism isn’t always a stage moment, it’s often found in relationships, consistency, and how we show up for people over time. “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” — Matthew 5:16 Grateful for every connection, every opportunity, and every door God continues to open.
