Absolutely fabulous start to the weekend for Olivia. The judges scored the solos on a 1 - 5 star system. For both solos she received the elite “6 star” distinction which means a near perfect score! It was truly the best she has ever performed both numbers!! And “Love Is A Battlefield” ranked tenth overall. (There were a crazy number of solos…over 100)

Congrats to everyone from Dance Unlimited on your accomplishments!!

Thank you to Jennifer Pollio, Bradyn Pettway, Janet Gambardella Bracale, Erica Corso and all the fabulous teachers who pour into her. Can’t believe this is our last Regional of the year and that this time next year will be her last comp of her Senior Year. 😔 ❤️

Dance Unlimited Senior Highlight of the Week…Mr John Alston

John has been dancing for the past six years. John just graduated from Achievement First Amistad Academy High and we are proud to announce he will be attending UCONN in the Fall Majoring in Political Science.
John’s Favorite DU Memory is: being able to perform a duo with his sister, Alonna.
John’s Favorite Miss Janet Memory is: “When I was getting ready to go on stage for the first time ever doing a solo, Miss Janet came over and was fixing and rearranging my hoodie a couple of numbers before I went on stage. I was nervous…..then I was REALLY nervous.”

John would like to be remembered by his passion for dance and respect for his teammates and teachers.

John, we wish you the best of luck as you enter the next chapter of your life. We know you will soar!

Love, Your DU Family ♥️
