From the bottom of our very grateful hearts 🩷💛💜💚THANK YOU to @ourmoonsmission and the Coolum community for your incredibly generous donation of $1,500, raised through raffle proceeds at this year’s annual MoonWalk😍😍

We’re so grateful to be walking alongside other like-minded families 👫👭 (literally and figuratively!) and incredibly thankful for the support of our wonderful local community.

Every dollar raised takes us another step 👣closer to funding the gene therapy research that could change the future for children living with mitochondrial disease.

Thank you for supporting our journey 🌸🌻

YEWWWW!! This drone's-eye view of #Moonwalk2026 has us absolutely floating on Coolum's love.

Pure festival energy gifted by @maskeventsaustralia and @projectolympus2032 for @ourmoonsmission from up high. #TallulahsArmy climbing for a cure, moonwalkers skipping and rolling their way up the boardwalk, sand magic from @rakey_master, and our beloved @marshallhamburgermusic singing for the cure and summonsing the biggest, most magical full moon we've ever seen.

Massive thanks to @hc_containers_and_portables for capturing it all from the sky! What a night!

Roll on, #CoolumBeach. What an absolutely beautiful bunch you are.

What a wonderful evening we had at this year’s annual MoonWalk on Friday. 🌕

Thank you so much to @ourmoonsmission for inviting Emily’s Garden to be part of such a special event, and for generously donating all proceeds from the raffle to support our journey 🌸

Watching everyone come together under the full moon was amazing. Still in recovery mode from her recent hospital stay, Emily was absolutely exhausted by the end of it, but had the best time with you all 😍🩷

We’re so excited for the journey ahead for all our families and so grateful to everyone who has showed their support so far 💜💚💛

This magical little human is my mate Tallulah Moon.

Tallulah has an incredibly rare, progressive genetic disease called SPG56 and her incredible family have spent years fighting to develop a treatment and gene therapy.

Now they need our help to give it to Tallulah and other kids with it.

Having lived my whole life with a rare neuromuscular condition, this is close to my heart. I’ve witnessed what advances in genetic research and treatment have done for my mates with SMA and CF by stopping the progression of their disease so they can live longer, fuller lives. I have SO much hope that Tallulah gets that same chance

This Friday afternoon, we’re Moonwalking for her.

Come and join us at Tickle Park, Coolum Beach from 3:30–6:30pm.

There’ll be loads of kids’ activities, food trucks and the talented Marshall Hamburger performing live.

Please come down, bring the kids and help us get a HUGE crowd behind Tallulah and her family.

Women who inspire!!! 🤍🌕

There are some people in your life who redefine what you believe is possible.

My beautiful friend Golden is one of those people. 🤍

When her daughter Tallulah Moon was diagnosed with SPG56 — an ultra-rare, progressive neurodegenerative disease with no treatment — Golden went looking for possibility.

What began as a mother determined to find a cure for her little girl became Our Moon’s Mission.

Years of relentless advocacy, fundraising, research and belief have brought a gene therapy for SPG56 to life — and now they are working to get it into clinical trial.

I am endlessly inspired by this woman.

By her willingness to stare at something seemingly impossible and say, we’re going to try anyway.

To turn fear into action.
Love into purpose.
And one little girl’s story into hope for families around the world.

On Friday 28 August, we have the opportunity to stand beside Golden, Tallulah and this incredible mission at the 2026 Moonwalk for Our Moon’s Mission at Coolum Beach. 🌕✨

They have come so far.

Now let’s help them get this cure across the line.

Event + ticket link is in my bio. 🌙🤍

First stop Sunny Coast for a super fun few days with the Whitty's! Despite the days of rain there were still some awesome times. The waves were huge and the oceans wild. Eventually it calmed down to give us some sunshine coast perfection. #simmieadventures

We are delighted to share that @ourmoonsmission will be attending this year’s @rhythm.syndicate Christmas Fundraiser at the #canberrabaptistchurch this Saturday 6 December.

This special event has been lovingly brought together by Tallulah’s great-uncle Keith and the angels of Rhythm Syndicate, who have stood with us and sung for us in such meaningful ways.

It has been a tougher year for our family and our SPG56 mission, with a few blows to our hopes and plans along the way. But we are looking ahead. We remain committed and gatherings like this give us the chance to reconnect with those who support us and believe—as we do—that we will achieve our mission in good time.

If you’re in the Canberra area and would like to experience the true spirit of love, community, and hope this Christmas, please join us.

📅 Saturday 6 December, 2:30pm
📍 Canberra Baptist Church, Kingston
🎟 $20 adults / $40 family groups

All funds raised will support the first-ever clinical trial for children living with SPG56 — a truly historic moment in the making.

Booking link in our bio 👆🏼We’d love to see you there. 💛✨

One little girl, her beautiful big brother, and two epic parents making dreams possible for so many!

@goldenia and Chris you continue to inspire me to be a better human with a devotion and dedication that is truly next level!!!!

Yesterday the weather turned it on for a very special festival raising awareness and funds for life-changing gene therapy. 🌞✨

One year on from our very first Moonwalk — which brought together more than 400 people in Coolum, and hundreds more around the world — we are closer than ever to curing a rare disease once considered untreatable.

You can still donate via the link in my bio.

Let’s keep making magic happen 🪄💫

🌕 A Beautiful Full Moon for Hope

What a truly beautiful day under the full moon - gathering together, step by step, for little Talulah, of hope she will one day walk beside us. Each stride was a symbol of love, courage, and determination as we raised awareness and funds for those affected by rare diseases.

Our Moon Mission is about more than just walking - it’s about shining light where it’s needed most, helping to bring one missing gene back into the lives of those who deserve the chance to thrive.

I’m so deeply inspired by my beautiful friends Golden and Chris, who have poured so much heart, energy, and purpose into creating this amazing day and beyond. The universe blessed us with the best sunshine, clear skies, and a glowing full moon to light our way - the perfect backdrop for such a meaningful cause.

Here’s to hope, healing, and the power of community under one radiant moon. 🌕💫
