Once I saw Kali’s giant fish, I had to try! I’m no crochet expert so there were some modifications/errors & I used a little more yarn than Kali, but it was a fun one. My giant bass shaped rainbow trout🐟

This yarn is top but I know a hook can change the world so help me out and share your favorite 20-25mm-ish hook. I could also use some tips if you’ve made something jumbo before.

Some pattern tests completely change the way you look at projects you’ve already made… and this little newsboy cap did exactly that. 🥹 I made a few different sizes, popped them onto my ducks, and suddenly they had so much personality. It’s amazing how one small accessory can completely elevate a handmade piece.

These hats work up quickly, come in multiple sizes, and are such a fun way to add a little extra charm to amigurumi, dolls, stuffed animals, or anything that needs a bit of character. I already know I’ll be making a lot more of them.
