Looking for a restaurant in Ikorodu that’s worth trying? Here’s one to add to your list.

I recently visited Gold Plates to see if the food lived up to the expectations, and here’s my verdict.

The Yam & Turkey Pepper Soup (₦7,500) was packed with flavour, well-seasoned, and satisfying. It’s the kind of meal you enjoy from the first spoon to the last. I’d rate it 7.5/10.

I also had their Asun Rice, which delivered a good balance of flavour and texture. It wasn’t bad at all and earns a solid 7/10.

The Native Rice was equally enjoyable. While it didn’t completely steal the show, it was a decent meal that complemented the overall experience.

If you’re in Ikorodu and looking for a place to enjoy a relaxed meal with family, friends, or your partner, Gold Plates is worth considering.

Have you been here before? If yes, what would you recommend I try on my next visit?

With back-to-back client consultations and student training, stepping out wasn’t an option. As much as I wanted a home-cooked meal, I was far too hungry to start cooking.

So, I ordered from Gold Plate Feast House, and despite the rain, my food arrived surprisingly fast. The delivery was seamless, and everything got to me fresh and in perfect condition. That alone deserves a solid rating.

Now, let’s talk about the food. Every single thing I ordered was flavorful, satisfying, and worth it. Safe to say, Gold Plate Feast House has earned a spot on my recommendation list.

Have you tried their delivery service before? If yes, what’s your favorite thing on the menu? Let me know in the comments.
