It was an absolute honour to present at one of the prestigious international gatherings in dermatology — the 14th DASIL World Congress in Kochi!

A good doctor isn’t someone who never encounters a complication. A good doctor is someone who understands what can go wrong, has the knowledge and courage to manage it, and stands by their patient throughout the process. Because responsible practice isn’t just about delivering results — it’s about being prepared for the unexpected.

I had the opportunity to speak on complications of lasers and energy-based devices (EBDs) in aesthetic dermatology. And talking about lasers with the Laser Guru himself — Dr Michael Gold, @goldskin8 — sitting in the audience? That was truly an opportunity of a lifetime!

Conferences will always be among my favourite ways to learn from renowned dermatologists and physicians across the globe, exchange ideas, and reconnect with old friends.
