This one was special 🥰

2204 Grant St in Berkeley - in addition to prevailing with 9 offers on the table, I had the pleasure of working with listing agent Jodi Nishimura @eastbayabode of Kai Real estate, who is both a long term friend, co-worker, as well as a past client of mine, which made it a full-circle moment! My client (and local author) @piperkerman is also a friend, so that made it extra special!! Congratulations Piper!

I’m grateful to everyone who was a part of that transaction and helped my friend lay roots for herself and her family in a favorite neighborhood of mine.

THIS is why I became a REALTOR. Our homes are our sanctuaries. They are where we run to when we long to feel safe, loved, part of a community, to celebrate life’s moments - both big and small. If I can help you find your forever home, your next escape, or your next chapter, I would love to help you make that happen. It’s still a tough market for the most desirable homes, especially in markets like Berkeley, and I have the experience, the strategies, and the know-how to help you get there. Call me! 510-418-7191. Happy Pride Month everyone!!

June is the beginning of Pride month - a chance to show support for our communities in recognition of LGBTQ+ people and those who’ve made an impact throughout history. Originally celebrated to honor the 1969 Stonewall riots and the work to achieve equal justice and opportunity for all within the community, Pride month has evolved into a movement fighting for LGBTQ+ rights, liberation, equality and visibility across the globe.

We are all a part of this community in some way - whether we identify, support, love, raise and/or work with members of LGBTQ+ 🏳️‍🌈 community. There are lots of ways to celebrate this month from street fairs to parades, and all sorts of events and activities across the Bay. How will you celebrate Pride?

🔥March is Women’s History Month, a time to commemorate and encourage the observance, and celebration of women’s vital role in American History. Coinciding with International Women’s Day (celebrated on March 8th) this is a wonderful time to support the women-owned and led businesses in our communities, as well as recognize the contribution that women have made and continue to make in society today.

I am honored to work with a woman-owned, female-led brokerage. Honesty, integrity, expertise and kindness all matter when conducting business. #redoakrealty Thank you @vboakland for leading the way in East Bay Real Estate. You are an inspiring leader!

Is there a woman in your life that inspires you? Let me know in the comments below.👇

It’s always rewarding to hear from my clients about their experience. What worked? What didn’t work? I strive to provide the best possible service with honesty and integrity.

Real estate continues to evolve, and as many know who are following the news, changes are happening industry wide. It’s even more important now to hire an agent who is knowledgeable and keeping up with industry shifts, especially as we navigate the change in tides. Curious about how changes in homeowner’s insurance or agent compensation might impact you? Reach out! Let’s have a conversation about current events. I’m happy to answer your questions or provide you with an update.

Is your home retrofitted for an earthquake? If not, you should read this. Once a year the EBB program registration opens for just a short period - and it’s open NOW but only until February 21st. Go to www.earthquakebracebolt.com to see if you qualify and enter a chance to be chosen for a grant of up $3,000!

This is the real deal folks - don’t miss this opportunity. Especially if you’ve already considered taking this step. Who doesn’t love free💰🤷🏼‍♀️

This year they’re also giving additional funds to lower income families - be sure to check that out - the threshold is higher than you might think!

Questions? Wondering if this is worth it? Reach out to me! I’d be happy to discuss the pros and cons and how it may add value to your home!
