Putting my own name on a website felt strange, but not as strange as being the only subject for alllll the photos - now THAT is weird 😅 I've created multiple businesses, countless films, curated teams, and brand stories, but never my very own website. And the funny part is, the work has already begun: Two consulting clients added this week. My live in person AI Workshop is open. I’m doing the things. 😂😂 Sometimes it be like this. lol! But go with me here. Passive income can sound like the dream. Work once, get paid forever (or so they say). But here’s the hot take: your one-on-one clients might actually be the reason your digital products sell. A coaching client of mine came to me after she ditched her high-end client work to go all-in on a course. Lower price point, less personalized…and her sales AND her passion/purpose tanked. 😬 Client work keeps you credible, current, and connected to what people actually need. It feeds your passive income, not the other way around. Take my company @golivehq for example. We build custom websites (client work) AND sell website templates (digital products). A lot of our templates sell because people see we built their favorite thought leader’s site. They can’t afford the custom, but they know the quality, so they grab the template. The client work created the demand and the template was just the easy ‘yes’. IMO, the move isn’t to replace…it’s to diversify. Don’t ditch your clients. Stack on top of them. 👊🏼⚡️

Two completely different brands. Same design direction. One built to sell products without feeling loud. The other built to hold memories without looking cheesy. Both made on Squarespace. I wanted these websites to feel calm, expensive, and easy to move through. Soft tones, simple layouts, clean typography, strong product imagery. The kind of sites people stay on longer because nothing fights for attention. The ecommerce store focuses on product presentation first. Large visuals, neutral spacing, and a layout that keeps the shopping experience simple on both desktop and mobile. The wedding website takes a different route. More emotional, more personal. RSVP, gallery, registry, event details all organized without turning the page into clutter. A lot of modern websites try too hard. Too many animations. Too much copy. Too many sections nobody reads. Good design usually feels quieter than that.
