POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Lee Goller "has always been fascinated by mystery, magic and folktales, and by the story pots of ancient cultures that captured ways of living, myths and beliefs.

'Moonlit Forest Antics' is inspired by the dry coastal woodlands around Beaumaris. Small, protected pockets of tangled branches, hollows and fallen trees. I love wandering there in the fading light, torch in hand, as the moon rises and shadows deepen. In these places, the familiar becomes mysterious; unseen creatures seem to stir and mischief might be afoot. " LG

Part of 'Toast!', which is such a strong exhibition, we don't really want it to end! So, as the annual sculpture exhibition moves into the middle space, we will do our best to retain elements of our tenth birthday exhibition to continue to be seen. Take in both for the month of October.

What a warm and wonderful night. Exuberance abounded.
Thank you so much to EVERYONE who made it happen and especially to our fabulous 'art family' and the many supporters that enjoyed the occasion.

Heartfelt gratitude for the beautiful book of gallery memories over the decade, collated and produced by Jane Millington and the hours of time she gives to the gallery with passion and the many flowers and gifts.

Thanks to the artists that travelled many hours to join us.

Thanks for the stories and conversations.

Congratulations & thanks for the impressive, diverse art and capturing it @sara_lappe_photography

It is one of our most special exhibitions. Please visit and enjoy it throughout September.

A few interesting pieces are still available from our recent group Ceramics Exhibition.
Lee Goller was inspired by the shadow play on the leaf litter of Melbourne's dry sclerophyll forest floor, morphing classical forms with a contemporary edge.

Best seen intimately, we bring you Blanc, the 2026 Annual Group Ceramics Exhibition.

From dreamy head in the cloud moments, to first snow on the tracks of Gariwerd (Grampians), to Damask patterns and rippling pools of water, the local sand, shell & cliffs and underwater worlds, 'Blanc' has all this and more as the inspiration behind each artists work.

Technically, glaze chemistry, materiality, surface detail, control or chaos, tension and evolving limits are also explored by these eleven worthy artists.

See it this weekend. 10-4pm

Lee Goller has responded to 'Blanc' with deeper exploration of 'the moments of pale light moving across the dark textured forest floor. Moonlight, early morning and late evening light skim rough ground, revealing fleeting detail and quiet transformation.

Long drawn to the vessel as both sculptural form and storyteller, Goller presents works that act as containers of light, memory and renewal.

Beginning on Friday, with so much to see, the Annual growing Group Ceramic Exhibition.
