One concept that I’ve been contemplating lately is Freedom.
🤔🤔🤔
I think in the USA we are lead to believe that we are the most free of peoples. I think this stems from a toxic & unhealthy national pride being imprinted on us from a young age which tells us that we are the best at everything. #americafuckyeah Freedom being one major thing we turn to as an example of our “greatness”.
🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Are we really that free though?!?
...
Unlike almost everywhere else in the world, we can’t smoke or drink on the beach.
🚫
Unlike almost everywhere else in the world, we can’t have our dogs on the beach.
🚫
Unlike Europe & South America, we must cover our bodies on the beach.
🚫
Our social media posts get monitored & blocked or removed if the content isn’t agreeable to the site or community.
🚫
We get banned from using social media and some get put in social media “jail” with no fair trial or say at all.
🚫
Our employers monitor our personal lives and try to tell us how to live, how to present ourselves, what we can and cannot do on our personal time and what we can and cannot post. They even use our own social media to track where we’ve been and what we’re doing.
🚫
The media lies to us.
🚫
Our food is modified and poisoned.
🚫
Our elections are rigged.
🚫
POC are killed on film & nothing happens
🚫
... IDK about you but, I’m not feeling very free lately. I feel restricted af by this country actually.
🔐🔐🔐
Not because of the pandemic. It’s actually not about the pandemic at all.
🦠 🦠 🦠
It’s the stuffy, restrictive rules of this place. The ones that are meant to “keep everything nice”. Nice & clean & fake.
☀️✨🌏✨🌕✨🪐 ✨🌟
These past couple weeks we have experienced a lot of powerful planetary shifts that I feel are leading us toward a deeper level of freedom through which we will break free of the limitations placed on us by our society.
💪 💪 💪
People are taking their lives into their own hands. Tapping into their creativity and ingenuity. Going virtual. Taking things outdoors. Getting personal with one another. Supporting small businesses. Using their money to support what they believe in. Using their voice to create a greater good for all. I have high hopes for Humanity.

“The wait is as much journey as the motion, because timing is pivotal.” - Innocent Mwatsikesimbe 💫
————————————————————
Thinking about my favorite place to play, my 2nd home & how I’m currently not there, on beautiful Lido Key...but here, journeying in the wait. Like this yoga pose, an artful mix of motion and wait, our lives are adventurous journeys, carrying us toward deeper understanding and greater acceptance, if we ride the wave. 🌊
————————————————————
Taking breaths of mindful awareness, observing the flow of our current reality and learning to embrace all facets of the journey is key to our growth and evolution. With regular practice, we can remain equanimous in the motion, in the wait, in the eye of any storm and in the heart of the most tranquil sanctuary. 🙏💙🐚✨

Surfing is a major sport/hobby in the Sunshine State! While at Ponce Inlet the waves were decent and a few surfers were out. I was able to grab a few cool shots of the riders. The younger kids were really good and enjoyable to watch. As usual, there was always a cool feature I noticed while editing. In the second picture I was able to capture a dolphin fin the the background of a long boarder catching a wave, if he only knew! Which is your favorite shot of the bunch?
