here’s what i mean ↓

a well-designed home should make everyday life feel better, not just look better.

think about the way you actually live in your space. where you have breakfast. where you drop your keys. where you sit at the end of the day. the things you reach for without thinking.

good design makes those little moments easier, more intentional, and maybe even a little more beautiful.

no explanation, just vibes 🤷🏻‍♀️

apparently “pick one thing and stick to it” never really worked for me.

art director.
designer.
marketing strategist.
artist.
content creator.
professional hobby collector.

and somehow… all of those pay my bills 🙂‍↕️✨

One of my favorite parts of restaurant projects is helping translate a chef’s vision into a functional space that can actually be built and operated efficiently. 🍽️✨

Shoutout to Chef Pablo Bouquet for bringing this concept to life and creating a truly international dining experience for the local community. 🧑🏼‍🍳👏🏼

If I were opening a restaurant, hiring a kitchen designer would be one of the first things I’d do.☝🏼🙂‍↕️

A well-designed commercial kitchen isn’t just about fitting equipment into a room.

It’s about creating an efficient workflow alongside the chef, selecting the right equipment, meeting health and building code requirements, and making sure the operation can perform at its best from day one.

The architect designs the building. The kitchen designer designs the operation.

Those details can save thousands in change orders, reduce permitting delays, improve staff efficiency, and directly impact profitability long-term.

And the renders?✨

They help everyone stay aligned before construction begins: the owner, chef, partners, equipment suppliers, architects, contractors, landlords, and city reviewers.

When everyone shares the same vision, projects move faster and decisions become easier.👨🏻‍🍳⏲️

Over the years, I’ve designed 20+ commercial kitchens that have been successfully built and are currently operating.

A good restaurant doesn’t just look good.🍸

It makes people want to stay longer, order another drink and come back.✨

an evening surrounded by beautiful design, thoughtful details, and so much inspiration ✨

getting to experience the new @kohler x @studiomcgee collection in person was such a special moment. the Claude collection feels timeless in the best way — elegant, warm, functional, and designed to truly last.

also… signed cookbooks, custom embroidered tote bags, and the dreamiest food setup 🤍

one of those events that reminds me how much i love interiors, storytelling, and creating spaces that make people feel something ✨

Successful commercial spaces require more than aesthetics.

Every design decision impacts workflow, efficiency and experience — especially in small commercial spaces where every inch has a purpose.

Function creates efficiency.
Atmosphere creates connection.✨

Rugs might be one of the most underestimated elements in interior design.😮‍💨

They define zones, anchor furniture, soften acoustics, and introduce texture that makes a space feel layered and intentional.✨

These are the rugs I’ve chosen for my apartment so far — and why each one works for the space.

From a large rug anchoring the living room seating area, to washable runners in the kitchen, to natural fibers that bring warmth into the bathrooms — every choice balances function, material, and atmosphere.

Good design is rarely about one big statement.
Most of the time, it’s about layering small thoughtful decisions that quietly shape how a home feels.🛋️

Follow along if you love thoughtful interiors, materials, and design details.

Designing a 300-seat space has been an incredible journey, and it’s coming to life soon!🚧

Our scope covers:
• Concept design
• Kitchen design
• Interior design
• Branding (@bluehouse.agency)

It’s an honor to shape the design of this restaurant in the same plaza where the world’s tallest heart sculpture, designed by @jefre_artist, is under construction 🏗️. Can’t wait to see it all come together!
