Come to our Open Rehearsal from 6-7:30pm and Welcome Back Dinner at 7:30pm on September 10 in the Fenway Center! We will rehearse some repertoire that we’ll be performing at the Band Beanpot concert (with the wind ensembles of Harvard, BC, and BU), as well as our outdoor concert, both in October. Our end-of-term concert is in November, just before Thanksgiving. Then we will have dinner with Pep Band.

Everyone is welcome! Come by for this great opportunity to learn about NUBands! 🥳🙌🎺

words have never quite done justice to what commencement day at fenway feels like. so this year, it occurred to me that a behind-the-scenes look might begin to convey it.

this is the director’s cut of the 2026 @northeastern Commencement Finale: a behind-the-scenes look at what goes into the show, the people who make it happen, and the moments that make it all worth it.
over 250 student performers from more than 12 organizations. a card stunt with 20,000 guests. technicolor pyro. a nor’easters ICCA championship win four days before the show. and a closing song that caused a delightfully viral moment!

when @hilaryduff told me this was “one of the coolest things she’s ever been a part of” i was like girl. 🫠that’s what my dreams are made of.

none of this happens without an extraordinary team and the most talented, dedicated student performers i’ve ever seen. every single person in this video gave everything, and it shows. thank you.

to the class of 2026: it was the honor of a lifetime to send you out on that note. Dream big, NU!

Flutes at the men’s beanpot consolation! We might’ve lost but the band sounded great and better than ANY other band 🫡

Farewell, 2025 & Farewell, Matthews Arena 🥺

Thanks for the memories, among them the record-breaking 3,298 fans who attended the Women’s Beanpot semifinal games last year — may they stay with us now and forever!

Thousands gathered in the Boston Commons Monday morning for a rally and march against the Trump Administration. Governor Maura Healey and Senator Elizabeth Warren were among the politicians and local leaders who came out to support. It was the first Labor Day parade in Boston in decades.
